taurustm: I really hope the United States wouldn't make their votes in the regards of having a first lady president. If Hillary can do it, let her. I've seen Hillary talked and I don't think she has what it takes to become a United States president. She claimed she has once worked with the military, that I believe when she was a first lady to a President. Under her, US might truly grow economically but I doubts their defence. They would experience wars within and outside and this would jeopardize her strategies of economical growth and job creation.
Trump—I believe large part of Americans would dislike him and majority of the world would hate him if he becomes the president. Economically, they might not be stable but the wouldn't really depreciate. he'd step on toes but they'd win every war that comes their way. they'd become greater.
And really, let's our people come back from USA. We need them here. let fight the good fight to help this country. First, this is sexist. How comfortable of you to leave out the part that HRC was Sec. of State. Oh!. Tell me 5 trump businesses that hasn't filed for bankruptcy. |

progress69: Hey boy now listen. This issue of SWF have been over flogged. You i and mynd44 agreed to save money. But all the time we comr for executive meeting you discover I and Mynd44 have tampered with the savings. Now tell me, are u gonna accept to keep saving with us . That is number one. Mind u, google is ur friend, the same fraudster claimed FAAC was aware of the fradulent removal of 2 trillion from be SWF for some phantom subsidy claims but later retracted her lies wgen FAAC denied and said Jonathan gavr her the approval to withdraw the alleges money to pay for subsidy. I am sure u will not like to keep ur money with a con artiste.
You are playing around the bush, the question begging for ans is what occassioned the subsidy Jump from 290bn to 2.2trillion? Did the amount of cars and generators multiply by 10. Or did our population in Nigeria suddenly tripple?she was trying to shift her mess to the innocent masses.
Hey you boy, why have u refused to telk us who was swallowing the so called phantom kerosene subsidy claims, all this still under her watch.
Hey boy, not everyone is silly. I hope u av been educated enough. Who raised the alarm that this subsidy is a scam ?!. That's a simple question. Now, you're accusing the gele woman, same woman who came out publicly to say subsidy was a scam and some people where just churning out figures. If you do not know, the figures are gotten from the port then sent to the MOF. That was why NGO had to say. NO!. This is a scam. 5 years later you open your mouth to say how was it so like she didn't say it then. You have no knowledge of what you're talking about son. Read!. |

progress69: Abeg make we hear word. I say make we hear word. The question is how dis subsidy claims jump to up to 8 times more than what was paid in 2009.SWF yhat she eas stealing from? Sanunsi asked if our population rose 10 times. Can u and yhe gele woman expalin the jump in subsidy claims.why did u delibrately ignore the fact she was also paying for a non existent kerosene subsidy. She and master want to turn thr burden of the great heist on innocent Nigeroans whilst selling oil above 100usd, and in prime oil production. Nigerians are no fools, they know the differnce b/w subsidy regime then and now. Okonjo initiated TSA but it was never implemented, They tried to remove total subsidy, no balls to hold tight. To hell with the ineffectual buffon and the con artiste gele wearing woman. You know nothing, i repeat u know nothing. Blind follower I wish you had more sense. In 2011, the gele woman came out and said all these things you are saying. She was that made it public that NGR could no longer afford to pay this subsidies especially since most of them are fraudulent. What do you know about Governance ?. SWF ?. Lord! Why do you have to be such a fool ?!. Wasn't it Amaechi and cohort that took the FG to court so they could have money to spend on APC...which they did. Common son. Wake up and learn. |

progress69: For the wailers who hapilly invaded this thread thinking they will see something to masturbate about, Sorry for the disapointed. Am dure some of you Ekpas will only read the headline and fly to comment.
Back to the matter;
In 2009 when I became governor of Central Bank, the Nigerian government spent N291 billion that year subsidizing petroleum products.
“Two years later in 2011, N2.13 trillion was spent on the same subsidy, so has our population increased ten fold? It was very clear that this wasn’t oil subsidy; it was a scam.
This is just oine of the greatest heist carried out by the gele wearing woman and her master. Imagine using 25% of this year's budget to finance bogus subsidy claims. Even the most inteligent and unrepentant wailer can never come up with anything meaningful to defend this scam
“This is just on kerosene; can you imagine a country losing $120m every month to a non-existent subsidy on kerosene, and not on the PMS.
This one is broad day light robery. Nobody ever i repeat nobody ecer biught kerosene at a subsidized price of N50 -N55 per litre at any filling station. Just once in a blue moon that NNPC sells at the price at select outlets. who was swallowing all the money?
Today oil is selling below 50usd per barrel for over a year now, everyone is crying economy.imagine we had all these monies in our reserves
God help us Didn't the Gele wearing woman move to remove the subsidy in 2011 ?. Didn't the Gele wearing woman move to create a SWF ?. What do you even know ?. God help us. |

modath: I do not know the day to day drama of Osun PDP but i heard there is a division over who is chairman or something of that nature, i can't be too emphatic.
One thing i can however say is that , even though the names you reeled are no lightweight, there is/was a reason Omisore got the nod then, though his stock has plummeted further.
As for losing goodwill, i won't go into a debate about that.. in the run up to 2014, same narrative of losing goodwill pervaded the air, events in Ekiti also added some impetus but we know how things turned out...
There is national hunger and people are naturally & justifiably angry with the party at the center.. It's not easy to transition from an era of free money to austerity. but i won't hold my breath that it will make a huge impact on anything.... Bayelsa is owing salary, Delta is, Osun isn't peculiar.. Osun isn't peculiar ?, Why does Cross-river not owe then ? Or most we emulate the inept governments only ?. Anyway, this is not a debate about governance. Oyinlola was relevant at a time as well but he couldn't even get a Senatorial ticket, Same for Rt. Hon. Patricia Etteh. Omisore has lost his hold on Osun PDP as well. The party has realised he was the reason for their failure at the last poll and they are trying to do away with him. As regards Adeleke, I haven't heard his name being mentioned anywhere. Names being touted in APC circles are Muiz Banire, Mojeed Alabi....Najeem Salam. Besides who wants Adeleke again ?!. |
Politics › Re: National Assembly 2016 Constituency Projects Allocation [infographic] by 3Div: 5:29am On Aug 04, 2016 |
modath: If by other parties you mean PDP, (the others are just pretenders) I don't think we even need to talk about it.. PDPians of note defected ages ago, there is no funds coming from the centre for any new entrants to procure support, Omisore is presently in soup, who else is left under the umbrella? I'm surprised you'd say this, there's Adejare Bello, Sen. Akinlabi, Akogun Lere e.t.c These are politicians of note from the Osun West Sen. District still in the PDP besides haven't APC lost their goodwill in the state ?. NB: Omisore is no longer the 'dictator' in Osun PDP. That's why he created a faction. |

willynilly87: You don't know anything about Osun state. Edu and Ileana are not in the same senatorial district. It is now the turn of Serubawon senatorial district. Just to correct the wrong information you have. It is not Serubawon senatorial district. It is Osun west Senatorial district. |
Politics › Re: National Assembly 2016 Constituency Projects Allocation [infographic] by 3Div: 9:07pm On Aug 03, 2016 |
. Well.. You don't know Osun like you said. bejeiodus: You are an acute observer of the political scene. But I don't think Serubawon stands a chance in 2018. He is from Ede which is in the same senatorial zone as Ilesha— where Aregbesola comes from. I think power will switch elsewhere. I am not too sure though. I only schooled in Osun--state, so my political calculations could be wrong. Besides, I think Lasun's age and religion give him an advantage. He is young, urbane, and well read. Adeleke is an old man and should remain in the Senate where old politicians like him spend their retirement. You didn't factor the governor's 'prerogative' to choose his successor in your permutations. Why?
As regards the role of money in our politics, it is an art that won't go away soon as long as politics remains a thriving business. |
Politics › Re: National Assembly 2016 Constituency Projects Allocation [infographic] by 3Div: 9:06pm On Aug 03, 2016 |
Well.. You know your politics and you know Osun State. What about other parties ?. modath: Osun's constituency allocation is the highest because Dep Speaker Lasun Yusuf has 2018 gubernatorial ambition.. Delegates don't come free or even cheap for that matter... However it would have all come to nought even if the planned heist had come through for them..
One of the contenders is Serubawon, Ex gov, serving senator and financial powerhouse, this is a man whose bros Deji Adeleke will come through if his own personal money is not long enough to buy the needed delegates for the primary....

Reasonable people knew when Nigeria got broke , That was before presidential election campaigns, just around the time Jonathan Reduced Osun's state allocation from 4.2 Billion to 1.2 Billion and for 6 months Osun workers didn't get any salaries
They shared more money than Nigeria can ever make ! This makes no sense |
