Hello Nairalander,I think I'm too cool for girlfriend, I have a girl that I really love but I think this love has taken over me dat is making me to loose my worth in her face, she doesn't obey me there is nothing I will tell Her dat she will do. and I obey her I always listen to everything she tells me, what is making me angry now is dat, I went to her house to give her meat for sallah. when I got to her house I called her to come outside her house. because am always going inside their apartment any time am there but I trying to limit that because I don't want to loose the opportunity her mom gave me, dat I can come inside their house anytime I want, so when I got to her house I called her to come outside but she refused to come outside , I was so angry, she always feel I should be submissive to her she never listen to me, please how can I deal with her, how can I make to be submissive (not control)because I love her and I don't want her to make me get tired of her

There are many sides to this. One is maybe she has had an abusive relationship in the past and she is determined not to submit to any man again, another is she is a pet girl at home and seldom receive correction from her parent, another is she may naturally be a stubborn girl, she may also be the proud type or a domineering lady. Most important is you may have forced yourself into her life. I will suggest you call her and let her understand that whichever way she would not want you to treat her, she shouldn't treat you likewise. if she continues you need to take a leave cos she might be a toxic partner and you might out of frustration beat her one day which is not a good one.

Bro , the reason she behaves this way is because you established your relationship as an equal, no matter how equal you are in a relationship there should be a defined leader, a person capable of controlling or influencing greatly the activities in the relationship just like the way a family functions, most girls that respect their partners isn't just because of love , its also because of fear of what the partner is capable of if angered , the punishment he can give them that will hurt them, what he can withdraw that will negatively affect them , these are some of the reasons . it seems your girlfriend doesn't respect you because you can't do anything that will make her to ! She no longer has any respect for you. You have given her the best she can expect from your relationship so she no longer holds you in any regard. She thinks you are scared to lose her and can't find any girl better than her.

The best thing you can do is leave the girl now while you still can. Devoting more time to the girl will not make her respect you, it will just make you more obsessed and make it harder to leave her. She will only see you as a nuisance that she is tired off
