Please write another thread on why the Hausa/Fulanis should emulate the Yorubas for once...if you are not a coward!

You complain of others discussing your issues and dragging ndigbo into their conversations, yet find it completely fine to drag others into your own diatribes.

How does the thread title concern the Hausa Fulani? Why not focus on the question posed by your fellow southerner?

You don't have to derail the thread if you cannot answer why you lack the capacity to play opposition politics. It's definitely no fault of the North.

I think it is time the Igbos are left alone jareee. They can't be consoled or placated because they want everything for themselves and the world doesn't work like that. Nigeria has other problems that require our full attention. The igbos would sort themselves out when it is time.

We were in Opposition for long in the SW, Our Leader AWOLOWO was jailed, Abiola Election was annulled, he was killed, his wife was killed, his business was killed. Ajasin was put under house arrest, Abraham Adesanya was shot and the bullets went like raindrops, Bola Ige was murdered in Ibadan, our elections were rigged with provoking audacity, Tinubu was attacked politically and almost brought down but we fought without destroying Nigeria. We conquered without silly blackmail!!!!!!

There is a country called NIGERIA and DEMOCRACY has come to stay, if you can't play with common sense, you will just die of hypocritical ranting!

did the yorubas fight alone, didnt you have support from ss and se?

Did the ss and se join hands with the north (like u lots are doing now against ur fellow south) against you during those harrowing years? Provide answers pls.

I responded because your kin are in the habit of claiming to be dragged into issues that don't concern them, and there you were doing the same thing to the North.

Face the OP and address your grievances with him. Arewa is not the reason for your inability to play opposition politics.

Cowardly and Gallantry are different way of doing things. Both can achieve result.
But everyone should play by his strength. Igbos cannot and should not learn to be like Yorubas!

continue to deceive yourself. Why is Tinubu kicked out from this government.? I guess he doesn't belong to the fulani caliphates. He is only used and dump for elections. By 2018 the Fulani masters will pay him a visit to bring along his pack of Zombies to come vote for the master Buhari.

Do you know why most Igbos consider Yorubas to be a tribe of cowards? Because you people have never risen to fight or even confront the Hausa/Fulani oligarchy that is emasculating Nigeria.

That is why in the south of Nigeria, nobody will stand shoulder to shoulder with Yorubas for everyone knows you people have no fight in you.

We need people who stand up to the North, not those beg for restructuring and make excuses for a failed ONE NIGERIA.

Why should we do that for you guys, you that are not cowards take them out already.Toddlers! We win with or without the rules.Winning is not shouting, winning requires, cunning, wit, humanity, compromise, and deftness not brash haranguing without any plan.

You are not a Yoruba.Yorubas can not stay long in a country that seek to destroy other tribes at the expense of fulanis.By logic of history nigeria can't last forever.Where is Roman,Ottoman and British empires today? But the various nations they forced together are still existing.Nigeria can not last in this state.

This is the meaning of IGBO-I-Go-Before-Others, once they can't achieve that, they result to all manner of theatrics. They have tried it on several occasions against the great Yoruba nation and hausa, since they know they have met their superiors, the cowards had to pull a skedaddle like Ojukwu did, with the new hastily cobbled up failed instrument of stupidity called Ipob.

They are now sounding like a broken record, what do youvwant Yoruba to do for you, take biafra and hand it over to you like a cookie. Then you guys will have to ask nicely.

Not by cheap blackmail, hoping you can incite us to war, you guys are dumber than you even sound. We can give you biafra, but ask nicely, since we have proved to you guys on and off war front and virtually all fronts that we are your superior. Don't tempt us to turn our attention to you, 3 million lives will be a child's play this time.

That's why they have been so marginalised since inception of Nigeria and absolutely have nothing to boast of back home.

Fleeing there region in swarms once they attain adulthood.

Call Yoruba's cowards, it took them where they got to today. It's playing right and smart in politics.

Who has bravery helped?

Talking about unity begging, it funny to me. Why so much attach importance to yourselves that you believe Nigeria is begging your lots.

Who has actually begged?

Better transfer aggressions to your elites and not blaming others for your woes [/s]

Yorubas know when to fight and when to watch and strategize. that's the difference between us.

we are not cowards. we have a well documented history of war lords, generals and empires in a democratic system long before the coming of the white man. what do ibos have? nothing. if not for the white man your people will still be struggling with killing bush meat with projectiles.

why don't you give me a detailed history of the ibo and advancements made before the coming of the white man and I'll do the same for Yorubas.

in fact give me the name of 5 ibo generals/war lords from the precolonial era ad I'll give you 20 from ijebu kingdom to, egba to Oyo to Ibadan to Ekiti kingdoms.

long story shot. we have a long history of empires, wars, civil wars an war lords. we are not cowards. we know when to fight.

bonus: a certain awolowo chased ojukwu to Abidjan without going to the battle field.

All that and you people are still begging the Northern oligarchy for restructuring? Your people are begging for something that belongs to them?

Which brain and brawns? How can the Yoruba man be begging the Hausa man for control of his own land?

That is what a coward does, he begs for his right rather than demand it.

Abi o jare!!!

I concur with the Op assertion that ibos can't play opposition govt, clear example is the fact that in spite of how the same northerners slaughtered

them in 1945 and again in 1953, the ibos willingly went into coalition with the same northerners in the 1st republic, as a junior partner.

After the civil war where we saw the genocidal act inflicted on their sorry little a.r.ses by the same northerners, again the ibo went into coalition

with the latter in the second republic. Even their warlord who sacrificed 3million of them for his ego and ambition came from back exile to join

the same people he vowed never to have anything to do with except on the battlefield.

However, the ibos are very quick to label others as fulani "slaves".

Very funny set of people.
