Hello guys, I'm about to apply for a post graduate diploma course in a school in Ireland. Application closes on 17th August and school resumes 10th September. Can I still make it? What do you think? Should I go ahead? I'll appreciate your responses. Thanks.

A pass in HND- you are aware even in Nigeria , you'll strive to get a PGD offer.

You need to have at least a lower credit to apply for PGD in Ireland or pre-masters.

Interesting, where do I even start from?

This question is somehow. If you want to apply for an undergraduate program , thats understandable if you only have o-level or OND.
But if you're considering another undergraduate degree becos its cheaper, thats a different scenario.

kindly carry out your personal research please.

However, Undergraduate programs have fewer scholarship offers.

Dear OP,

I opted for a second undergraduate degree because it seems cheaper.. Right?

Few scholarship.. Hmmm. Please like what range is their tuition fee and which list of schools can I check from please.

Good evening all. I am new here. Its past mid night and I am crying as I come to you for consolation.

I had applied to Australia in 2010/2011 for student visa and it was denied. This year, I decided to try again. I applied to Canada, twice. I was admitted for a PGcert program. Today, I got the notification that my application has been rejected for the second time. I am saddened now. . I am now considering Ireland.

The reasons were 1) financial 2) home tie 3) purpose of visit

Australia was financial shortfall.

It depends on the course and Uni offering the course.

Hey Guys! Great job.

Please I need to know from anyone:

Is it a must I submit my transcripts as part of the embassy requirement document? I have my Degree certificate and WAEC certificate.

Unilag doesn't give students their official transcript. I have tried and tried for a while couldn't get a copy to myself.

I am looking to go to NCI in Sept.

Please I'd appreciate any information from experience.

Thanks.

How did you submit the transcripts used to secure an offer?

Speak to your agent if they can request for copies of your transcripts from NCI if not then you may have to submit just your O-level and BSc Cert.

The norm is you apply for it and Unilag Couriers or email it to the school directly. Technically, the stipulation is that as an ex student we aren't supposed to have a copy, from my understanding. They guard it like a classified document.

Is it a deal breaker? Are they keen on it?

My agent got mine from my school and they sent me a scanned copy.
Luckily they only scanned it and sent to NCI and when I needed it for visa, they just gave me the original they received from the school. So if you used an agent and your school sent them the original and they didn't courier it to NCI then ask for it back.

Hi, I believe you are looking at addressing this - "Evidence that you have the academic ability to follow your chosen course

You must provide evidence that you have the ability to follow your chosen course e.g. exam results, qualifications."

School certificates and statement of result and and any other related documents i believe should address that.i.e. nysc certificates etc.

If you are looking at Sept this year then its best you put in your application immediately as there's just barely 4 weeks to go.

I finished from UNILAG and i can relate, students are not availed a copy of their transcript and using an agent at this time is an additional minimum of 4-5weeks..

Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate. I'll just go ahead and submit the application. Paid the full school fees already as well.

God bless
