Romance is when you stand in the gap for your husband or fiancee to
breakthrough.
Romance is when your fiancee or husband has a job interview and call you to say, "baby am about to enter the interview hall and am nervous" and you say, "oh my love, when they see you, they see solution to their problems" and you go down on your knees and talk it out with God in deep tongues" Awwww so sweet.
He comes back from work and you welcome him with a warm kiss, take his jacket and bag, warm bath ready for his shower, plug his phones and laptop for him, serve him a nice dinner, ask about his day, cuddle him to sleep, next morning his shirt and trouser with jacket already laid out for him, his bag packed, his breakfast served and probably lunch bag ready. Am imagining what the look on his face will be.
You think is an offence or burst of Ego or pride, when you just collect your salary and during weekend you say "Dear husband, I feel like treating you out today" no o sister don't wait until it is his birthday or anniversary sef. And you take him to KFC(any eatery or place you can afford o)to order the best Chicken and Chips(anything he likes) in Nigeria for him alongside 5 Alive. Wao am blushing on his behalf, but do you know the gentleman in him will not want you to pay bills but wifey take your stand and tell him its your treat, and then you pay. Oh my God. He will just stay back and be looking at you amazingly. He is
so proud of you.
Madam, stop buying boring boxers and singlet every year. Do something different. Lemme give you an idea.
If your husband works in the corporate world, why not buy him nice designer leather shoes with ties and matching cufflinks.
He is a pastor, I just discovered there is a 3 in one Bible( English version,Yoruba version and Hymnal) buy him one, you are blessing the ministry. And many other things this guys desire. You can buy them cars, tablets, plan their vacation for them as surprise, make candle light dinner, wear nice sexy and attractive dresses and night dresses. Go to barbing salon with him, etc.
Did you just say you cant afford them? Oh baby no, yes you can afford them, with that little you have you can do something better, please grow out of this your boxers and singlet romance, trust me you have bought enough.
Another form of romance is when you see your husband has a lot of office work to do at home, e.g as a graphic designer and he has a lot of people to deliver to, why not help him, ask him to teach you the basis and help him with the little work so he can deliver on time, yes you just fulfilled your role as his helpmeet and he will really appreciate coz men loves progressive women.
Don't be a total burden, when he forgets to send money to your parent, send them some and tell them its from him and when they call him to say thank you, he will be surprised at what you did, you just boost your Marital CV before him.
Value your husband, respect him, be submissive to him, these are the best romance you can give him. Try this today and see how much he will love you.
