Do the phones or laptop detect the HotSpot name of your hot7? If yes, you can go to your hotspot settings on your hot 7 and toggle frequency band there. Then try connecting again.

Thanks. I changed the password, deleted the hotspot name on my laptop and phone , tried it afresh and it connected. Thanks guys

My Infinix hot6 had battery issue, it takes a long time to charge( 10hrs) and still discharge quickly which make me think battery has damaged. Besides the battery is irremovable and I don't know if there is anything that can be done about it.
