The Hot 8 and Spark 4 are essentially the same phone with different designs. They both spot the same Helio A22 (low budget) processor and both have 13mp main shooters.

Anyway, the Hot 8 has a better battery 5000mAh and has an extra third VGA low light camera.

The Hot 8 Pro is vastly superior to the Tecno Spark 4.

So Hot 8 is better than the Spark because of the extra battery and camera sensors. Every other spec is the same.

Other options you should check out are Nokia 3.2, Nokia X5, Samsung A20, Redmi 8. These are all within the same price bracket and offer better performance compared to the Helio A22 which, frankly is disappointing.

Or add money and get the Hot 8 Pro.

Hello house,
Between Infinix Note 5 Stylus and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 which of them would you recommend for a heavy phone user without sentiment. Dear users your comments, observations and suggestions are welcome. However, to all tecno/Infinix marketers, your suggestions are not welcome.

Considerations based on;
Reliable Processor for 3D drawing apps and High definition games such as GT San Andreas, GT5, NFS, Asphalt...

Not prone to freezing/hanging/app-crashing

Camera quality must be crisp irrespective of the mega pixels

RAM optimization: Both devices have 4gb RAM but which of them optimizes RAM more efficiently than the other for multiple tasks.

Battery optimization: Both devices house 4000mah battery but i need the one that minimizes battery usage.

Performance:

Redmi Note 8 is the clear winner with Snapdragon 665 over the Helio P23 on the Infinix Note 5 stylus.

Reason- The SD 665 is built on an 11nm process and has 4 Kryo 260 processing cores which are very effective for heavy tasks. The GPU (Adreno 610) is very fast and renders graphics well. The Helio P23 is built on a bigger and older process (16nm) and has regular Cortex processing cores for both heavy and light tasks.

Battery: MIUI has battery optimization, coupled with the less power drain by the CPU on the battery should lead to better run times over the older and slower Helio P23.

Camera quality: The RN8 has a quad (4) camera module. The main shooter is a 48 megapixel shooter made by Samsung. The IN5S has only one single 16 megapixel camera.

MIUI optimization handles RAM fluently. XoS tends to stutter as the memory fills up. Hence the need to wipe Cache regularly.

On Gaming, there's no contest. Adreno 610 is better than the Mali G7 GPU.

But don't take my word for it. Look it up online. Wish you luck, which ever you choose.

For the 3D drawing since the N5S has a stylus, go for it and as for games I'll recommend RN8, the note 5 will handle alright but there'll be frame drops and slight lag
even on medium performance/graphics, especially on asphalt and NFS (asphalt and some Gameloft games as well as some games from different developers didnt work on Android 9 on the note 5 I used then but on Android 8, dunno if they fixed this with Android 10...can someone confirm?)

Note 5 stylus is prone to freezing despite the 4gb RAM compared to RN8 (I use the RN7 4gb and the only form of freezing I experienced was when I played PUBG on HDR graphics+extreme with a horrible network connection).

For camera quality, RN8 wins this one cos it got better camera alogrithms compared to the note 5 stylus (unless you're one of those who love oversaturated photos or use too much filter in their photos, go for note 5 stylus).

Ram optimization, RN8 optimizes apps better than the note 5 stylus). Take this from someone who used the note 5 4gb variant, difference is damn clear on my note 7.

For battery optimization, miui optimizes battery better but since note 5 stylus is an Android one device, battery optimization is okay on it as well. This is the only place the note 5 stylus trys but then it's probably cos apps close if said app isn't whitelisted.

Also since you're a heavy phone user, I'll recommend RN8 or any other device that's not from transsion holdings to you as it'll suit most of your needs if not, it'll end in tears for you like it did for me when Android 9 came to the note 5.

P.S - previous device before using current device was INFINIX note 5 so answers were based on my experience with the device, though it's not the same as the one you listed.

While I'll agree with you completely on the grounds that Tecno devices has less problems and issues, my Tecno LA7 is almost 2 years old and still very strong. But my Infinix hot 2 packed up in a few months.

The specs on the Infinix are far better than those on the Tecno. If you have others reasons, please share.

You'd need to provide more info such as the state of your WiFi, hotspot and Bluetooth (either on or off) does the said message pop up when any of those is on or it still does when all of them are switched off. Be sure that they are switched off.

Assuming it pops up with all those wireless option off, then an app might be triggering that message as soon as you are online. Say for example, a game app that allows you to play online with other players.

it usually pops up when I connect my phone charger to recharge my phone. It pops up whether all those mentioned are on or off. And once I remove my charger it continues for hours before it stops.

Okay, have you repaired the charging port before now? Sometimes, the DATA points in the usb port can malfunction telling the phone that certain connection is established.via usb. The solution is to take it to carlcare if you're still under warranty or give it to a competent technician to have it checked.

Possible solution:
1. Check or change port (or sub board)
2. Firmware reload
