All hell went loose when an angry mob allegedly attacked a Hindu girl - actually slapping her across the face for riding on the bus with her Muslim boyfriend and ultimately hugging him.



The couple were on the bus together in India when they were confronted by angry strangers.



Mobile phone footage shows how they were attacked for hugging each other and other passengers yelling at the helpless young couple.



Suddenly one of the men swings at them, his hand connecting with the boy's face and bouncing his head off the window of the bus.

Another man then slaps the girl around the face. She responds by screaming at her attackers in anger and fear.



She is then pulled by the hair and dragged out of the bus. The video was later uploaded online in an attempt to further shame the young couple, whose relationship is considered a taboo in Indian society.



Surprisingly, his outraged Facebook friends actually did respond with vitriolic messages, one even suggesting they should be burnt alive.



This is insane! Lol. They should go to the European countries and basically see couples having s*x by the road side in broad daylight.
