We have just come out of strike season, jackass, the 0.6% is nothing scary. Your economy would contract if your oil workers had the freedom to strike. but they dont as Nigeria is not a free country.

We can't be striking in all sectors when we bear the weight of Africa on our shoulders. That responsibility comes with it's own etiquette. We produce 75% of all manufacturing in the west and central africa region. With 14 automobile plants on stream and coming, it's a pressure I wouldn't want south-africa to suffer.

patches689: Not to mention that South Africa is completely integrated into global markets and as a result has been hit by the Americans policy decisions on Q.E

Go figure, same as nigeria, china, turkey and india, but you don't see any of us growing at 0.6%.

LOL.

Busted.

patches689: You are not the most developed market in Africa - proven by the fact that you are defined as a FRONTIER MARKET

The FDI issue has been provem beyond a Shadow of a doubt - We are the top FDI receiver, and even Kenya receives more than you

And my source says nigeria has the highest FDI in africa, it also says during WEFA africa, nigeria attracted a further 34 billion dollars. Ouch.

patches689: And stop with the racism. Who cares who owns what in South Africa? They are all South African!! Because your government is whoring your country out to the Chinese and West, just like Nigerians sold other Nigerians into slavery!! cool

Stop with the lies. It ain't racism, you're the person bringing in a racism connotation to a clear fact.

Almost 80% of south-africa's imports and manufacturing come from china. The chinese government have the south-african government by it's balls.

You were bullied by the chinese, and was forced to refuse the dalia lama entry into S.A for tutu's birthday.

You're the CHINESE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH-AFRICA

China's main outpost in Africa.

None of those sources say that Egypt produces and develops on the scale of South Africa

We are in the Top 20 for a reason

Those 5 sources CLEARLY say Egypt domestically manufactured thousands of guided missiles and hundreds of ballistic missiles, plus over 1,000 main battle tanks....show me 1,000 tanks made in South Africa.

Egypt is now proved to be Africa's biggest weapon manufacturer.

South Africa is at near bottom table of arms exporters NOT producers, you Retaard !

Your country on that table only beats countries like Azerbaijan grin

Many of the arms export by South Africa counted in your favor on that table include imported equipment you purchased from Europe and later resold to countries like Ecuador Cheetah jets, and French made Helicopters to Zimbabwe.

I proved that here, this year on SIPRI arms transfer database.

You South Africans have been posting false information about your country on this forum for too long, now Nigerians have decided to expose your AZZ and show how it is not clean grin grin

Nope, Angola is equidistant from both countries. Gap is the same.

Then Nigeria has to cross 4 different countries EEZ to reach Angola, South Africa only crosses 1 country's EEZ.

SADC defense agreement zone is South Africa's full responsibility as the largest Hollywood noisemakers in your region

SAN is a failed blue water navy only good in photos .

Then you admit South Africa's billion dollar submarine navy needs help from Nigeria because you have ZERO force projection tongue

It confirms what we have been saying all along. The N.E is a semi-arid/ desert region, cold desert air, with a mountainous terrain.

The nigeria north-east is very dry, except for a few handful of months of the year. That photo shows a niger-delta vegetation, which is rainy, wet and swampy.

SOUTH AFRICA DID TEST A NUCLEAR DEVICE ...A study released Tuesday by opponents of South Africa's apartheid system asserts that a 1979 "double flash of light" detected by a U.S. intelligence satellite in the South Atlantic was a nuclear explosion.

The study suggests the alleged test was carried out by South Africa

The 29-page report, released by Rep. John Conyers Jr. (D-Mich.) and the Washington Office on Africa, a private church- and union-based lobbying group, accused the Administration of President Jimmy Carter of engaging at the time in a cover-up by casting doubt that the mystery flashes were actually caused by a nuclear device.

The report, written by Ronald Walters, a Howard University political science professor, said evidence was provided indicating that the flashes were not a natural phenomenon. He said the evidence came in part from tests showing high levels of radioactivity in the thyroids of Australian sheep soon after the flashes were spotted by the U.S. satellite, the Vela.

ORIGINAL A BRITISH SECOND WORLD WAR TANK AND TRANSFORMED BY SOUTH AFRICA INTO THIS MODERN ERA MACHINE @AUGUSTUS SHOW ME A TANK PRODUCE BY NIGERIA OR A TANK MODIFIED BY EGYPT NOT AN AMERICAN COPY OR ANY AFRICAN COUNTRY THAT HAS BEEN ABLE TO DO WHAT SOUTH AFRICA HAS BEEN ABLE TO DO......SHOW ME A NIGERIA TANK THAT MUCH THE COMBAT CAPABILITIES OF THE OLIFANT MAIN BATTLE TANK

Olifant weapons

The Olifant mk1B main battle tank is armed with the 105mm L7 rifled cannon main gun. The gun on the mk1B is fitted with a thermal sleeve for sustained accuracy in firing. The mk1B carries 68 rounds of 105mm ammunition.
The tank is also fitted with a 7.62mm general purpose co-axial machine gun and a 7.62mm anti-aircraft machine gun.
Fire control

The driver's station is equipped with a day and night sight and the gunner's station is fitted with day and night sights and an integrated laser rangefinder.

Self-protection

The glacis plate and nose of the hull have been upgraded with the addition of passive armour and the turret has been fitted with stand-off armour. The installation of a double-armour floor gives the crew additional protection against mines. The running gear is protected against HEAT missiles by new sideskirts.
A smoke screen can be laid by a fuel injection system in the engine's exhaust. A fire detection and suppression system improves the level of survivability.

Engine

"The mk1B Olifant is armed with the 105mm L7 rifled cannon main gun."
The V-12 air-cooled turbo diesel engine provides 900hp. The tank has been equipped with torsion bar running gear and hydraulic dampers have been fitted to the first and last pair of wheels.

Mobility

The tank achieves a maximum road speed of 58km/h and the maximum range on internal fuel is 350km. The tank can ford water to a depth of 1.5m, negotiate gradients and slopes of 60% and 30% and vertical obstacles up to 1m in height.
Olifant 2 main battle tank turret upgrade

LIW, a division of Denel, has developed the Olifant 2 main battle tank turret, which can be fitted on an upgraded Olifant mk1B chassis, providing the tank with hunter killer modes of operation, fire on the move and day and night time engagement. The turret can be armed with either LIW's GT8 105mm or an LIW 120mm smoothbore gun and features periscopic stabilised day / thermal gunner's sight with laser rangefinder, panoramic commander's sight, full solution fire control system and modular armour package.

[size=13pt]

The vessel attack was NEVER said to be in Northern Angola, all that sources say is that it happened in Angolan waters which is part of what South Africa signed agreement to protect and defend under your regional SADC joint protocol.

Then Southern Angola is closer to South Africa than Nigeria.

Also the middle of Angola is equal distance between Nigeria and South Africa.

What the fvck ! It was South Africa that signed agreement to protect the whole SADC region and that includes the whole of Angola, north or south does not matter. What matters is that the world has seen a blue water photo-mania Hollywood navy that cannot protect the local region it signed agreement to protect.

The day enemy wan invade South Africa, na dat ya side wey dey open 24/7 unprotected and uncovered na there enemy special forces go take ocean enter come drop Ebola Biological time bomb inside ya South Africa and dem go sail back to base, after which time bomb release virus all the way down to Cape Town....na dat time ya eyes go clear !
