Nissan is Japanese company. Nigeria thanks Japan.

Pegeout is French company, it's automobile plant has been in Nigeria since over 20 years ago. We thank France.

However we thank South Africa for providing their women so that Nigerian men in your country can have daily access to 'key holes' to slot in their 'keys' at random. Thanks
.

Nope, you have not signed the deal yet.

the name will be released when tenders close on June 30, 2015

7 Frigates

Deal with it

When the design drawing is done on paper, and a name given to your imaginary OPV in 2015, come back and talk to us that you have just started on paper.

I build ships with paper when I was a kid 20 years ago.

The tenders are out.

Its meerly a matter of selecting what we want.

7 Frigates

Deal with it cool

Also: The irony of this guy, non-existant JF-17 deal and he has been bragging like they are sitting in a runway in Abuja.

Drakensburg is newer than all of your major surface ships and all of their weapons

LOL . NNS Centenary has entered service in Lagos naval base, she is an invisible stealth ship to the old radar on SAS Drakensberg, we will sink your fat and obesse ship from 15 km away and insurance won't be able to cover your loss.

NNS Centenary is not a major surface combatant

Without SSM's is barely even a combatant

I don't remember any African threatening SAN's ship.

Cause all sub-saharan African navies know, none of them can challenge SAN at sea.

Wait a few months for NNS Aradu refit and upgrade to be completed, and NNS Ambe supply ship refit, then arrival of Chinese combat ship being transferred, plus JF-17 Thunder precision air to surface weapons.

Wait till the next 3 months and see as Nigeria rebuilds all her 3 armed forces to challenge every African nation except Egypt the mighty

NNS Aradu has been in "refit" since 2012

NNS Ambe is an LST not a supply ship

China is transferring no combat ships at all

JC-17 is still a pipe dream

The only thing the Nigerian navy is a threat to is its own vessels.

What exactly are you even asking for here?

Are you embarrassed that after saying no one has bought the "over priced" Mbombe we were able to instantly prove you wrong?

Anyway, 50 sold so far

much like he is always here making emotional posts

Anyway, Junk Fighter is kinda unneccesary for Nigeria considering what they need is Su-25's and Tucans supplemented by Scorpion jets

What does South Africa need Gripen jets for? Your only threat is Rhino poaching, so all you need in SAAF is ARHLAC toy plane for low intensity engagement
.

We needed to replace the Mirage

Gripen is the obvious choice, and at the time the only choice considering the other two were the Mirage 2000 and the Rafael

The Hawks can drop PMG's

You need CAS, why not buy a CAS asset?

JF-17 Thunder, no poor man has bought it yet. Nigeria and Pakistan have bigger defence budget than South Africa.

Since you cannot maintain in full service only 26 Gripen jets used by 'rich' men, South Africa has been proved to be a poor man
.

Jap we have 4. SAS amatola will be active again next year March after receiving a full refit,SAS Isandlwana is being refitted as we speak, as for the last 2, its up to the SANDF to decide which one they want to refit next.

Nigeria does not have a bigger defence budget

The list of buyers you posted were 99% poor, the rest are under arms embargoes

Its a poor mans jet

With regards to the Gripen, we are meeting our minimum air requirements as we have no threats. 14 Gripen plus the Hawks is waaay more airpower than what Nigeria can muster.

Yep

Getting the warrior class OPV/s online has freed up so much needed maintenance time for the Valour Class

What?

Nigeria has no operational missile armed vessels

Our "defunct" subs sunk an entire NATO task-force

NN is a joke, zero warfighting ability
