Those pilots can fly Pumas, MIGs which are the original version of F7s jets and obviously, they will fly Gazelle. Alpha jets are just nothing to those guys. Mercenaries are contracted secretly by secret services in a way which is clandestine in nature. Intelligence can never know everything every time unless it is a matter of concern. The intelligence after all is not prophetic in nature. They may also have been invited by phone call and meet in another country.

How do you know the Nigerian government sent an envoy to South Africa?

You don't. You just created that story and sucked it out of your thumb.

Mercenaries are private operators. It's as simple as that.

Now the government knows that they are in Nigeria and will have them arrested on their return, it says.
