How come some guys try to 'form' unnecessary 'sharp guy' by lying they dont spend on girls? A friend of mine came abegging for some loan to ring his supposedly kaput car engine. I obliged him only to later discover that he gave the money (plus more) to his babe. About N50k. And to think that the mofo often brags over beer that he has never given a chick 1 naira his entire life! Guys, what's the point of these kinds of self-deceit?

He was most likely trying to impress his mates (i.e. you) . It happens when guys feel ashamed of themselves so they try to find a way to make up for it by lying and pretending it has never happened to them before.
