Hello everyone, I was at the embassy this morning and I need to share my transcript eventhough I was placed on AP by the nice guy at Window10 or so...

I was the 5th person to be attended to, overall. While I was the first to be attended to by the guy VO, he also uses earpiece too (cause i noticed someone said one VO use earpiece). Before I continue, let me use this opportunity to encourage those who are waiting for their interviews. Please let us all appreciate the value of this thread. if not, lots of us would have lost it in interviews. And in additional, someone on this thread has shared/warned us about these tout people at the car park arena, they have nothing to offer u except collecting ur money for unnecessary document arrangement and photocopies.....U don't need it, anything u need to arrange would be announced by the people working for the embassy when you are on screening queue. These touts even rent chairs for people to sit at the rate of 200naira, a friend who was waiting for me alerted me.. Pls let's take note...

While on the queue, a fine lady came to separate us into two categories - Immigrant and Non-immigrant applicants.
She announced - Bring out ur passport, DS-160 confirmation page, Appointment, Your i-20, GTBank receipt and Your SEVIS FEE (To be on safer side bring along ur 2x2 photo passport u might need it "I didn't use mine though"wink all these are the things u need and the embassy workers will tell you how to arrange it or what to do...
Funny.... I was number 5 on queue and only 3 VOs are already on sit including our dear black aunty, mama blue paper at Window 7... Na so prayer start.. God u know i am in ur hand, give me not Window 7, i am black already let no blackwoman interview me here biko... grin

pls do you have an idea of how I can go about towards getting admission in any of this schools. Like steps to take
Visit their websites. For Point Park, you would need to go through ukeas, their partner agent here in Nigeria. I got my admission through them. It's free. No one will ask you for any money. But if you're looking at this fall, you have to hurry up cuz most are almost done with admission matter. Any info on point park and park, u can send me a private message and I'll be glad to help. But first visit their sites. Learn to use Google. It helps.

Please I have the same issue of not getting rescheduled appointment dates, even today 30-06-2018 that was made known on the US embassy Nigeria Facebook page that only student visas will be able to make appointments. It's not available ooooo yet... I don't know what's going on.
I have called the customer care lines, only got response that availability is only at the discretion of the Consular.
My dashboard is not displaying any calendar. I have filled a new DS160 form n location now is Lagos.
I don't know if I am the only one having this issue.

Maybe my case is different, I was denied my F1 visa on 19th June & I reaaply on 21st June and got appointment on 31st of July.

My visa was approved yesterday at the U.S consulate, Walter Carrington.!!

Why IELTS? That is a UK/British-preferred exam. Why not TOEFL instead?
what's the difference, which one is better?

Yesterday in Abuja, my brother had his F1 student visa interviewed, he was denied but not given any letter to explain why he was denied. When he requested, he was just asked to go, that he was denied.

Please can anyone tell me what is going on?

Hi Guys!
Apologies for my absenteeism, it's been a while.
The Spring semester exams coupled with getting an internship for this summer break made us busy.

However, I have a piece of note advice for the incoming Graduate students to Trumpland!!! Not the escapees oo grin grin grin
Please, Please and Please... for the sake of living a responsible life after leaving Nigeria and also for the sake of maintaining your status, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIP (Or any form of funding) & your Papa is not Aliko Dangote/Mike Adenuga and Co (You know what i mean here).
Please defer your resumption till the program coordinator guarantee you a GA or better seek for GA in other schools.
Those here know the gravity of what I am preaching shocked shocked shocked
Thanks all

God bless you for your piece of advice to some people who won't listen. Many are desperate to just escape the shores of Nigeria at any cost and this is why they become vulnerable to many unprintable things in Europe and America and bring us all down as a race.

Calm down man. He hasn't said anything that would prompt anyone to insult him. He passed his opinion across in the most reasonable manner.

There was no point in you telling him he'd be insulted.

I don't think there is any need for this bro, he as said what he as to say, those who needs it will make use of it. I believe everyone is responsible for his action.
Saying "they will simply insult you" is a stain to every Nigerian on this thread.

My opinion.

Okay. Thank you so much. Would that be a problem if he reapplies? The reason why I am asking is, since I have been reading this thread, everyone who gets denied will get a paper explaining why he was denied. But he didn't. Now, what would his reason for his denial since he was not given any paper.

Anticipating for your respond.
