If your withered brain would permit you, I suggest you read it up so you now would understand that the word REPENT used there was not based on evil from God but based on the evil they had been subjected to over time for their disobedience and rebellious nature so God had pity on their condition especially after they made an oath to God in Jeremiah 42:5.

1.
