Yes you can, these are not things that qualify you for Dropbox as I had the same situation and still qualified for Dropbox. Although everyone’s visa was renewed but mine, I got a 221g follow up interview before I was finally given. |

onyotse: That excuse doesn't work always, you can read VO's responses regarding this in page 0 of this thread. If you were pregnant during the interview then you should have disclosed that you planned to use the visa for child birth in future. Using birth centre will not help your case though. |

Springdance: Okay,do you think paying the hospital bills before going for the interview is an added advantage to secure the visa or what do you think? Thanks |

jaycribs: Trust me darling, I did an extensive research, my preference was Houston and the hospital I used charges $3000 for vaginal delivery. For CS, hospital fee in Houston ranged from 4000-4500 and I chose my hospital becos anesthesia was 560 compared to 1000-1800 charged by other hospitals. At the end of the day, anesthesia made it cheaper. We are in the same boat cos i am paying plenty school fees and school fees in Lagos is not smiling at all. All the best. 1 Like |

happney65: I don’t think you need to pay your hospital bill, you need to have your doctor’ Correspondence and if possible hospital correspondence. Some doctor’s charge a fee which will be removed from your total bill to send you like an acceptance letter. You can get your doctor to send you that instead and take it along for your interview. Some doctor’s don’t charge you. It depends on your doctor 2 Likes |

Paying before your interview isn't an advantage. Just make sure you have the total cost from the hospital and Dr ( add this to your budget sheet) with your email correspondence. Paying could only be an advantage for you at the port of entry. happney65: |

Hello everyone, I applied to renew my visa via Dropbox and got a 221g form for a follow up interview fortunately for me I was in the US last month and managed to get both hospital and doctor's email correspondence from West Houston Medical Centre but my concern now is on the Hospital email correspondence I put my friend's US address as my US contact while on my DS160 form I wrote that I don't have any contact in the US and this is because I lodge in a hotel whenever I visit and only used my friend's contact for the hospital because it will somehow still get to me rather than a temporary hotel address please note: I have never stayed with this friend before so I'm just wondering if my friend's US address reflecting on the hospital email correspondence would be a red flag during my follow up interview or not? Please share your thoughts |

Qatar is quite disciplined with regards to documentation. I suggest you submit the MEDIF form in advance even if you are just 31 weeks and a few days old. I flew Qatar about 3 weeks ago and I was 31 weeks and 4 days old but I still ensured I submitted the MEDIF form. At MMA, I was asked to go to Port Health to get a fit to fly which cost 1500naira. If you are sure of how far gone you are in your pregnancy, please stand your ground without being rude. The nurse there tries to convince people otherwise so that you can settle her. With regards to the layover, I didn't pay for accomodation. I simply looked for the 'Quiet Room' at Doha airport and went to relax there. It has reclining chairs so it wasn't that bad. People go there to sleep before their next flight. You however have to be be at alert as there isn't a PAS to announce flight stats and you definitely do not want to miss your flight. The air hostesses were amazing. They gave me almost everything I asked for and even a large bottle of water to keep by my side so I could stay hydrated. For the connecting flight to the US, some man came to talk to me and asked how much money I had on me, if I had my doctor's correspondence as well as a hospital, where I'd be staying, etc and adviced me not to collect Medicaid. I hope this helps. Eilenora: 4 Likes |

You see. There is one secret code I know that works and a very experienced former US consular on Quora, Kathryn Berck confirmed it once. The more documents you carry, the less your chances of being legit. You are working, how frequently you work is to bring in complexities. No need to carry employment statement. Go with your bank statement, however, the more important bank statement is that of the sponsor, which in this case can be you or your DH. mpres: 5 Likes |
Before end of the 36th week, it's 5450 after the 36th week 6950 USD. It's on their website, look it up. If you can change your Poe then go ahead but I know it's not as bad as you have stated. Just be prepared and pray for a smooth entry. Go to the search bar and type Houston Poe , then narrow the search to travel. Thanks so much sis. Please do I need hospital correspondence to show at the POE? I only have correspondence with the doctor and I read here that people show their correspondence with the hospital at the POE.please help a sister out |
