What's the difference between a soul mate and a companion?
Who exactly is a soul mate....



Bail me out of this confusion please, i'm disoriented and would like to know the difference between the two

Soulmate is a haircream.
Companion is a toothbrush.

A soulmate is that one person (out of the billions) you believe was made especially for you. It's a romantic notion (which not everyone believes in) which suggests that love-pairs are pre-conceived and pre-determined to find and complete each other. You have one soulmate. But a companion is simply someone you've chosen to walk life's journey with. It could be your soulmate or someone with whom you have decided to make things work from a more practical view point. I don't know about soul mates, if they're unicorns, but some people can get wrapped up in the concept and spend their lives looking for that one most perfect fit. It might be more prudent to choose a suitable companion: people are like....,..fossils(?) they fit into each other's grooves if they're joined for long enough.
