It's a scam. I know them. They will say free visa, free accommodation, free everything but want you to pay for ordinary cargo delivery fee. Just ask them to send it, that you will pay on delivery, they will just become offended. My little contribution... Thank you. 6 Likes |

Did he send his passport to them for it to be sent back with visa via a courier service? No matter how special and important any request is, there is always a due process. The emphasis on the courier service which ain't even corresponding also makes it obvious it is a scam. An official email will end just as it's website eg info@mail.com if the site is www.mail.com 4 Likes |

Re: My Nephew Got This Message From A Job He Applied For In The US From Nigeria by Ojestar(m): 7:53am On Dec 30, 2017 |
First mistake came from the word "CONGRATULATION" The correct word is "CONGRATULATIONS" and to say that the wrong word came from an 'American' is indeed questionable. Second error came from the $250 asked to pay to the delivery agency. No organization would demand for any payment, not to her nor any third party affiliated to her as a prerequisite for being employed. BE WISE!! 8 Likes |

This is very glaring, it's a work of scammers. Your brother, if he is not busy, can scam them back by pretending he did not see the loophole and ask the courier to come. |
Re: My Nephew Got This Message From A Job He Applied For In The US From Nigeria by kokomilala(m): 7:55am On Dec 30, 2017 |
No doubt about it. Look at the grammatical structure, how lower cases are mixed up with upper cases. The word CONGRATULATION, would have been CONGRATULATIONS if it were genuine. In content and form, it is word it is, cyber fraud or an attempt in that trade. But, it's a very poor work of imagination. 2 Likes |

The thing is; people like to think of a lot of things in the negative light. It's a safety measure anyway. But I think a little look into the good light is necessary. Come to think of it, what if the whole process turns out to be genuine? He'd probably say that the Lord doesn't want him to get the job. I'm just saying. The best thing is to look up the agency. They always have a website, and therein a customer contact service. Communicate with the organisation, ask if the mail is genuine. It won't cost a thing. You should not lose a good opportunity on sentiments. Just be careful. |
