The correct translation of the verse in Surat Al-Ma’idah is: [O you who believe! Do not take Jews and Christians as your patrons. They are patrons of their own people. He among you who will turn to them for patronage is one of them. Verily Allah guides not a people unjust.] (Al-Ma'dah 5: 51)

It is obvious that Jews patronize the Jews and Christians patronize the Christians, so why not Muslims patronize Muslims and support their own people. Well as I know , these ahadeeth deal with end time prophecies . In Islamic belief , after the arrival of Jesus PBUH , there will be only two grou of people , one following him , who will be called muslims ( submitters, obedients ) , & the other will be against him , following Dajjal/Anti-christ . Now since the jews are still waiting for their king/messiah , a lot of them will side with the anti-christ & not jesus . And then all this will happen thats discussed in these ahadeeth .

In Islamic belief , after the arrival of Jesus PBUH , there will be only two grou of people , one following him , who will be called muslims ( submitters, obedients ) , & the other will be against him , following Dajjal/Anti-christ . Now since the jews are still waiting for their king/messiah , a lot of them will side with the anti-christ & not jesus . And then all this will happen thats discussed in these ahadeeth .

even the text that you quoted regarding the article you have been reading says in the beginning that "So the decisive battle in which the Jews will come to an end will most assuredly come to pass – it is inevitable." refers to the future. I dont think one should phrase it as "the Jews will come to an end"... this assumes that all jews would join the anti-christ/Dajjal

Before Jesus Christ came, All Jews were expecting a MESSIAH who will help them battle their enemies and be victorious. When Jesus came, they rejected him cos he didn't do that. They didn't know that he was to first come and fulfill a task before returning to destroy their enemies.

Now, who are the enemies of the JEWS? All those nations surrounding them who are now Muslims today. Guess what? Muslims have shown themselves to be enemies of the Jews by wanting them dead as commanded by their Quran and Muhammad who called them pigs. It is this same spirit of Antichrist that is inspiring Muslims and will make them surround Israel in the end time to commit genocide on the Jews. This current Jerusalem issue is the main catalyst for that event.
