Good for them. Someone should save this I'm about to write somewhere for posterity sake.
Cattle colony will never be a solution to herdsmen vs farmers clash in Nigeria. After 2-3 years of establishment, the clash will resurface. Why? Fulani man by nature is a hovering animal (animal in general terms).he hates to be confined in a particular place. He enjoys moving from place to place. When he's restricted to a particular place, he sees it as a deprivation of his natural self characteristics. More so, a death of a single cow in that colony as a result of disease will lead to all of them vacating the place.
Prof. Baba of Geography dept, Federal University of Technology, Minna (God bless his soul) forecasted this clash over 40years ago. He made it clear that colony or ranch will never be a solution, rather, education will help. Educate the Fulanis on the risk they put the country when they allow their cows to destroy the crops of the farmers. Tutor them on the need to mix farm. When they mix cattle rearing with crop production, they will understand the important of the two. This will go a long way to instill in them the consciousness to avoid destroying farmlands as they are involved too. The foliages from harvested crops will also be used to feed the cows during dry season. Enact a law stiffly banning any herdsman entering any farmland that's not his. Let's see if the clash will continue. The federal government knows what to do but are playing politics with human lives. We know their agenda, but it won't work. Thank God the south has rejected it in entirety.

Bro God bless you for this . God bless you. That's the solution. Educate them. They kept moving from place to place searching for grasses for their animals. Have they ever planted one grass to replace those ones their animals eat.?? No.
By the time they finish the grasses in the colonies won't they go out and search for grasses outside the colonies..??.

Sokoto is doing something bigger

Sokoto To Inaugurate Largest Cattle Breeding Project In West Africa

The Sokoto State Cattle Breeding Project, the largest of its kind in the West African sub-region, will be inaugurated in May.

Alhaji Tukur Alkali, Commissioner for Animal Health and Fisheries Development, made this known when he conducted newsmen round the project site in Sokoto and Rabah Local Government Areas on Tuesday.

Alkali said that the project would improve the genetics of local cattle breeds by ensuring more milk and beef production.

According to him, this initiative will go a long way in empowering farmers with modern technique of livestock production.

“The government has spent N2.8 billion on the project inherited from the immediate past administration of Alhaji Aliyu Wamakko.

He said N1.5 billion was spent on acquisition of Argentinean cattle for cross-breeding, construction, training of personnel, provision of security and other logistics.

The commissioner added that N1.3 billion was for the purchase of equipment for the project.

He said the project was aimed at ending farmers/herdsmen clashes experienced across the federation, and in some neighboring West African countries.

“We hope to not only empower our farmers, but also impart modern knowledge on mechanised farming and cattle breeding techniques.

“About 13 cluster farms will be established to be run by private entities.

“All the cattle breeds will graze in these fields. We will also provide research centre and laboratory, veterinary services, among others,” he added.

Sokoto State government had in 2010 signed a two billion Naira contract with an Argentine firm, South American Breeding Technologies (SABT), for the establishment of a cattle breeding, milk and beef production factory.

Based on the agreement, SABT will train and bring revolutionary changes in agriculture, genetic procedure, meat processing and milking machines.

TRUTH ABOUT CATTLE COLONIES
The Nigerian govt. have decided to establish cattle colonies in every state of the country. Each colony will be five thousand hectares of land(5,000). This will be for fulani herdsmen. Do you know that :
(1) 1 hectare is a football field.
(2) 10 hectares is one square kilometer.
(3) 100 hectares is 10 square kilometers.
(4) 1,000 hectares is 100 square kilometers, ie 100,000m by 100,000m. And now > (5) 5,000 hectares is 500 square kilometers, ie 500,000 m by 500,000m. This is a stretch of 25 kilometers by 20 kilometers of land mass. This is the kind of land mass they want for the fulani colonies. Imagine parts of the land stretching from Zuba to Gwagwalada to Airport junction to kuje to Aya towards Nyanya to Buari and environs.
# Do you know that many local Governments land mass in Nigeria are smaller than one colony?. In fact almost every local government in the South south, south East, and South west is smaller than one colony.
# So they want to establish one Fulani local Govt Area in every state of Nigeria.
# Do you know that there is only one (1) cattle colony in the whole world? It is in Pakistan, near the town of Karachi.
# Do not read alone. Pass on. Peace.

SAMBISA FOREST
* 686 square kilometers.
* 6.8 million hectares.
* 68 million plots of 100 feet by 100 feet.
* At 5 cows per plot, it can take 340 million cows.
* 340 million cows is 18 times the current number of cows in Nigeria.

They have not told us what exactly they're looking for. But we know!
SAY NO TO HERDSMEN COLONIES.

What is a colony?
The dictionary defines colony as a settlement of emigrants(settlers)who move to a new place, but remain culturally tied to their original place.

The following amongst others will happen if you allow the proposed colonies setup in the 36 states & the FCT.

1. mosques will be opened in your ancestorial homes with horn speakers to call for prayers. Its their culture!

2. Emirs will be installed to supritend over the colonies, its their culture!

3. No limit to the number of wives because its their culture!

4. No limit to the number of children(because its their culture!) This means b4 long, they will out number your people and start spreading because its their culture!

5. You must not complain because if you do, you will be seen as fighting their culture & belief!

6. Even if their animals stŕays out of these colony to your neighbourhood, which will obviously happen you must not complain. If you do then expect deadly attacks.

7. They will not obey the laws, custom & tradition of your land where the colony is located. They obey islamic law, custom & tradition!
Please say no to this evil Jhardist agenda.

Don't be a careless and carefree Christian and start crying later when it is no longer possible to reverse the evil. This was how Ilorin Kwara State was taken over with an Emir ruling them till date.
God has helped us to destroy many evil laws by this government within the last two and half years, this one is the deadliest and this too must not STAND.

Pray using Genesis 11:5-6 that God will confound their speeches, their language and will raise diversities of tongues among them and that this EVIL COLONY agenda be scattered in Jesus name.
Pls let us share widely. It is urgent!

see the illiterates talking of decency. with the several pictures all over cyberspace showing hundreds of people killed by herdsmen you had the effrontery to call it propaganda!!! you can shove that decency up your cow phucking as$. my parents didn't teavh me to kiss as$es for a living. I was brought up to say the truth no matter whose ox is gored. I was brought up to recognise my mistakes no matter the circumstances and admit them. you on the other hand have no honour whatsoever. innocent civilians were killed in their native land by herdsmen from elsewhere and you think it's propaganda yet you have the mouth to talk about decency.

i remain probuhari but something needs to be done to stop these killings and punish the killer herdsmen ASAP!!! say the truth. you won't die if you do. illiterate

Who told u dat Fulani herdsmen problem is education? This pple knows Wat dey r doing & it is about dominating oda ethnic groups not education. Miyetti Allah cartel who owns d cattle r educated but dey deliberately left their foot soldiers (d ones dat herd d cattles) & der militias uneducated, bcoz their lack of education makes it easier 4dem 2control. D ones herding dis cattles all around d country r poor boys of school age. Why r dey not in school? Wat happened 2universal basic education? Is education not an human right? Is it not child abuse 2b using school age boys 2herd cattle? But their elites will neva complain bcoz d system was created deliberately 2advance d agenda of d elite(miyetti Allah). Please read between lines- d solution is 4 govt. 2 ban open grazing & proscribe miyetti Allah as a terrorist group but burahi wil neva do dat coz he's biased & he's an ethnic bigot, also it's not just him alone it includes all der elites.
