Sequel to the debate on this thread : https://www.nairaland.com/4341608/lady-rejects-mans-marriage-proposal/7 A guy donated his kidney to lady that was a friend as of the time he donated the kidney to save her life, after the operation, he asked her hand in marriage but he was turned down, now there's a hot debate going on, some people are of the opinion that the guy that saved the lady deserve only an appreciation and the lady doesn't owe him anything. On the flip side, if the lady ( or you, the reader ) find yourself on a sick bed, in a similar situation and need a kidney to survive, if the only donor available requests for your hand in marriage ( BEFORE MAKING THE DONATION AND SIGNED DOCUMENTS BEFORE THE OPERATION IS DONE ), Will you agree to such a deal, or would you rather die. On the other side, if the donor doesn't request for your hand in marriage before making the organ transplant, will you go ahead to marry him? If not, what if the donor requests back for the organ? Do you think it's been coerced forcefully against your wish or one good turn that deserves another? What's your take on this subject matter ? |
