Dog meat is a matter of choice, some indigenes like eating It, some don't.

Me, personally I don't joke with a well-prepared dog meat mixed with unripe plantain, garnished with scent leaves, perewinkle, then a very sweet,fresh&chilled palmy by my side.

Note, the dog meat delicacy must be served hot, spread in a wide tray while the scent leave will be oozin', waitin for me to do justice. while listenin' to highlife music.

It's a nice state, they lost a golden opportunity to do better during the oil boom between 2010 to 2014. All they did was build more hotels every where. Now those hotels are empty due to recession. Even the ibom Tropicana isn't as exciting as it was before,.

Great tourist location nevertheless.

Before you cough out this trash again just visit, we are super contented. Even in Europe when I visited they had homeless folks in almost all biz zone but here in AKS everybody has a roof over his head, despite the abundance of flyover, nobody sleeps there. Ask Nigeria brewery for statistics and you will be shock that we are the happiest. Our basic needs are within though like humans we can't be satisfied. But we are better than atleast 30 other states in the federation.

You are talking nonsense. I should visit the state where I reside. Here in Uyo for months, we've been having light out. Street lights are on but no light in the houses. You call it contentment.
How many youths are employed and you call it happier people. Come to Itam, under the Good luck flyover and see able youths chasing taxi to collect #20, you will be shocked that some went to school but have turned tout. Even the so called pencil and toothpick factory, who them help? They teachers recruitment that was done, appointment letters are taking centuries to be delivered to the successful applicants. Last time, the letters was withdrawn from them.
Armed robbery is going on everyday in Uyo and less of them are apprehended and you call that joy? I was robbed and disposed of my properties here in Itam.
Sir, with all due respect, Akwa Ibom is beautiful and conducive when compared to other warring states but don't just come online and say they are the happiest people because they drink beer.
Let's not come online to uncover some ills about our state but be careful next time to back up your opinions with genuine facts.

Don't mind them. Instead of them to maximise the opportunity to install lasting and lucrative institutions, they went around building hotels that people find it difficult to lodge in.
Someone will come online and tell me that they are the happiest people just because he has not sat down to define what makes people happy if not from beer(Nigeria breweries, according to him)
