We know it the duty of the women to keep the home and everything in it. Some believe it is a must for the wife to do all these.

But do you think is it mandatory that she do all especially some chores the husband could have done by himself if he is still single, like washing his cloths etc

Am not calling for debate, I just want to sample Ideas. Am a Christian my self so both Christians/Muslim/Other can contribute.

Christianity is not an ethnic group or cultural belief.... HENCE is can not be customized according to your culture.
DO WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS... and that is basically up to you and your wife to decide... it is NOT culture dependent but personal convictions.

Let's not reduce the GOSPEL to culture/traditions because the bible shows us that WE MAKE THE WORD OF GOD OF NO EFFECT BECAUSE OF OUR TRADITIONS.
Mark 7:13 KJV- Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition..

so please this is not for discussion. Stay where the BIBLE stays, do not try to ADD to it. else God may be vexed with you. so if anyone now comes to say some myopic views, what happens to those who brought the gospel to us from civilized countries where the couples share home responsibilities 50/50... are they in ERROR?

The main reason a woman was created was to be a helper for man . A man is expected to work in the farm or office to maintain his family while the woman is expected to help at home by preparing food on time for the man , clean the house and help in training the children.

That is the way God designed it :

Genesis 2:15,18 KJV
And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
[18] And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

But things have changed because the world is going to an end.
Most women have now taking up jobs and trade to assist the man in his responsibility of providing for the home.
It is therefore , also necessary for the man to help the woman in her duties to balance the equation.

In summary , if the woman is not the office type, she is expected to help the man in every way possible in the household chores , provided the man is busy providing for the family's financial needs.

Biblically , the woman is expected to keep the home :

Titus 2:3-5 :

 Likewise, older women are to show their reverence for God by their behavior. They are not to be gossips or addicted to alcohol, but to be examples of goodness.

 4  They should encourage the younger women to love their husbands, to love their children,

 5  to be sensible and pure, to manage their households, to be kind, and to submit themselves to their husbands. Otherwise, the word of God may be discredited.

Read Proverbs 31:10-31

At least you wrote something, it's a contribution anyway.

The Gospel is the foundation of every Christians, but despite receiving the Gospel; Peter, Paul make sure they address how couples ought to relate to each other. Even at that, today, many are still clueless as to what to do or what not to do.

The beauty of this is just for discussion, then a good man will know the good path to follow.
