In some cases, when one comes from a poor family it's hard for that person to have free hand in helping others. Davido came from a wealthy family, he has seen it all right from childhood. I think that's the reason he sees material acquisition as nothing and thus helps a lot of young people around him to come up.

they say that he cant and doesn't write his songs but yet he keeps churning out hits tracks year in year out
they say he is just lucky and will soon fade out but for almost 7 years now he has been on the stage and is still getting stronger
majority of his those who went on stage with him to collect that award will never in their lives have been on that headies award podium if not for davido.
this is a wake up call to everyone that you dont have to get old before you achieve greatness. you can help others raise and in return they wont let you go down .
