Fayemi doesn't have up to 80% loyalists among the delegates. Even with the way he is wooing them with money, he has only been succeeded in camping just some numbers above 1000 out of the over 2000 total delegates.

That number automatically give him the edge.

Wel, I will say to some extent.

Meanwhile, don't forget we are in Nigeria where even if you camp and woo delegates with lots of money and they still don't like you, you might still not get their votes. I know of an APC presidential aspirant that gave as much as some thousands of dollars to delegates to secure their votes during the last general election and still end up losing woefully.

We never can tell, there might be a consensus candidate already just like a source revealed.
