I don't think the Israelis want a destabilized Syria. I haven't seen Assad lash out on them, a destabilized syria becomes a breeding ground for terrorist who want Israels downfall. The grand master plan is to send Assad packing, install a Western puppet and set the land grabbing ball rolling in Syria. The Russians destroyed the plans of the Americans and their allies by supporting Assad. I've not always supported Iran, but by reason of recent events, Iran should have the right to possess nuclear weapons just as Israel does. A weaponless Iran is a catastrophe in the world.
