My fiancée has been complaining a lot about me not communicating effectively with her. I had always taken it casually until recently when it almost ruined our relationship.

I am not a very good listener, I tend to forget things she tells me, and she gets really upset when she has to repeat herself.

I want to change and be a better man for her.

Please kindly recommend books on building effective communication in a relationship. I would also be grateful for any other book on relationship that will help me.
