Lol, your E320 does just 220 HP. There are i4s out there that'll give it a run for its money, no surprise.

That said, the Peugeot would get absolutely destroyed by a G35.

Why? You just advise someone not to buy a 2006 G35 but look for a 2007+ without good reasons?

Pls go for 2007 and above. The new face lift. The 2006 below looks old. It started production in 2003. Not appealing. The new models also packs more punches in performance with an upgraded modern engine. You should get one for 3.5m toks. Naija drive 1.8m ish

2007 wasn't just a facelift, it was an entirely new generation. For one, 2007+ looks much better than the previous years.

Second and most important, the engine on 2007+ isn't the same as previous years. Previous years used the VQ35DE. 2007/2008 used the VQ35HR. 20 HP+ increase in power. A smoother, more performance-oriented torque curve.

Also the VQ35DE had oil burning issues, but they were fixed on the VQ35HR.

My next car will almost definitely be a G35, and I'd buy a 2007/2008.

Lol, mind yourself. A 2007 G35 no pass 2.3m if you import toks yourself. 2.5-2.7 if you buy from a dealer. They're cheap af in the US.

He didn't search well. 2007 G35s sell for 5-6k on Craigslist. Clean title. That's 3.3m or so for everything.

I've seen 2007 Run/Drive G's with only rear damage go for 2k on IAA.

Edit: 2008 G35. 139k miles. Under 6k from a dealership.

I'm a fan! It's a proper E Class competitor and came with some unreal (at the time) technology.

Same platform as the G, same powertrain too. Generally very reliable but the amount of tech on it means there's more stuff that could go bad.

A much less sporty ride than the G. Worse fuel economy than the G, which is saying something considering how bad the G's gas mileage already is.

Cheap in Nigeria because mechos inevitably spoil something. Buy a Nigerian used only if you have a Grade A mecho to check it out and handle repairs. Of course, your guy should have high-level diagnostic tools.

I'd take the M35 over an ES 350, without hesitation. It's not quite as good-looking but apart from looks and reliability, it's more car.

All Nissans have shite electricals, haha. Aside from regular electronics, the powertrain electricals tend to be rather convoluted, relative to Honda/Toyota.

Yes, it's very well-loaded. Don't buy if you don't have the money to fix things that may go wrong.

Yes, like a V8. Expect to get around 6km/l while driving in the city. That's 16l/100km. grin

Edit: It's a 3.5L engine that's supposed to run on premium, which we don't have here. Plus the M35 is a pretty heavy car.

I think I've got the G35 on my radar right now, was thinking of adding a 2005 BMW 5series to my Peugeot 607 which is my daily rider, from what I see here I'm definitely going for the Infiniti.
P.S no car is bad, give a car what it needs at the proper time and it'll serve you well. Was even surprised that it's the same engine on the QX4 and the 2004 Pathfinder which means it's cheap and easy to maintain. My G35 just has to be a Manual Tyranny sha, I have a knack for Manual Transmissions. 270hp with manual will tear up any car on the road.... It just has to be a manual
