In my area, power has been well structured in a way that you know when it comes and when it goes. You're sure to sleep at night with power though. That's a constant in my area now. In the day, it switches on with intervals of 2 - 3 hours of blackout in between. The schedule runs as follows:
Power goes out by 10am in the morning, returns by 12 noon, goes out by 3pm, returns by 5pm, goes out by 7pm and returns by either 9 or 10pm. From then on, it stays till 10am next day.
Area is Okota, Lagos.

Meanwhile, I have a 5kva inverter and 8 solar panels for sale so you can enjoy uninterrupted power supply, like I did before batteries packed out. Check my ad.

without bias, I've enjoyed far more power supply under this govt than the previous!.....

I couldn't boast of 2 hours power in a week under the last govt, but now get about 18 to 20 hours in a day!

Electricity in my area in Lagos has been very good. We hardly have power outage since 2 months ago. I always turn off my refrigerator. I haven't refill my gas cylinder since 2 months ago. My generator has been on unprecedented holiday.

Kudos to whoever that's making it happen. I hope it continues forever.

Yes. I know we are in rainy season. I am sure this is not the first rainy season in Nigeria.

Nairalanders what's the situation in your area?

For transparency sake, conduct your survey/research between Lucky Fibre and Imota, Ikorodu Lagos. Don't skip GSM, Maya, Adamo etc. Come back and tell me the story.

I am sure, on this thread. You only see what you want to read.

Majority of d ppl commenting are also in Lagos and majority of dem are reporting d same epileptic supply... MAJORITY of Nigerians are not seeing any improvement in supply. Like I said earlier if urs has improved gud for U but MAJORITY of Nigerians are still worse off. I used to b sure of atleast 12hrs lite in a day but now 6hrs is a miracle.

May and June have been terrible months. Power which used to be 16 to 20 hrs daily is now scarce these days in my area as we now average 4 to 8 hours weekly now. my lazy generator has finally found job to do daily.

Electricity Supply has improved, but a lot still needs to be done in many interior and rural areas. Faults in the developed areas are usually out of Community or neighborhood neglect
for the areas with regular supply, the addition of a simple 1.5kva inverter and 2 batteries to a household will see you enjoying supply for 24hours everyday
can you tell me more about the inverter stuff i hate generators
