Electricity in my area in Lagos has been very good. We hardly have power outage since 2 months ago. I always turn off my refrigerator. I haven't refill my gas cylinder since 2 months ago. My generator has been on unprecedented holiday.

Kudos to whoever that's making it happen. I hope it continues forever.

Yes. I know we are in rainy season. I am sure this is not the first rainy season in Nigeria.

Nairalanders what's the situation in your area?

I have only watched one world cup match using PHCN, in d areas around me and in most part of Niger state, d so called power state their is NO LITE

Ogbeni. I just stated what's going on in my area and I am very happy about it. If something is good, admit it. It is not all the time we talk, complain, whine and react like when litheum sees flourine. You can state yours without trying to bring down the discussion.

For those matches that I watched at home, it's been through national grid. Get that!

Ogbeni I was talking about d mumu who is already generalizing and making reference to enemies already... I am in no position to comment on d lite in ur area. I commented on d lite in my area and d areas I am aware of. Dat it is gud in ur area is gud for u.

With 3000 megawatts of electricity generated and to be consumed by 180 million people? Situation is pathetic. There's absolutely no light anywhere in Nigeria

For the period I stated above, yes I know.

Locally, I once lived in Bayelsa for a year. Yes again. I know what it means to have electricity.

It's not predictable oooo ooo for almost a week now, there is hardly 2hours of light

But yesterday voila! Uninterrupted for 10hours which has continue today hopefully

The truth is that for years now, I have never enjoyed the light the way I did in this administration

Whatever effort they are putting is gradually paying off

I can only hope that they don't relapse undecided

So what does it mean to have electricity to enable us compare and contrast overall situation of the country in that aspect..

By the way, I spent 2yrs in Switzerland sometime ago.

You don't need to tell me all the countries you have lived. Did I tell you electricity is stable in Nigeria? Don't derail.

Electricity Supply has improved, but a lot still needs to be done in many interior and rural areas. Faults in the developed areas are usually out of Community or neighborhood neglect
for the areas with regular supply, the addition of a simple 1.5kva inverter and 2 batteries to a household will see you enjoying supply for 24hours everyday

That is absolute waste of space cos even in Lagos state, in most areas, people are living in darkness.. So what's the praising singing all about?

Like I posted earlier, it's sheer celebration of mediocrity.
