Kumuyi didn't say deeper lifer shouldn't watch television. He was misinterpreted by many who stood religiously to such doctrine. The bible say in 1 Th 5:22 that "Abstain from all appearance of evil". If watching tv will make you commit sin, should stay clear. That is just it nothing more nothing less.
