i'll be honest. i dont fancy igbo garri for drinking. some people like drinking yellow garri. i dont like that. i believe it should be yellow garri for eba, ijebu garri for drinking.

i grew up in naija now. the word koko is so old you can carbon date it.
i went to the market with my mum when i was small and saw people grinding already fried garri. i was puzzled. as a garri researcher even at that tender age  i asked them why and they explained everything to me.

maybe it happened in the west.
I never saw this in Igboland,never!

i guess easterners dont have it that bad. i saw this in lagos oh! lagos where everything is possible.

you go kill me with laugh. is it precious koko garri you feed to chickens? think how many humans in lagos could have ground that and drank it. quit being wasteful.

Lagos pple do come to ibadan to buy garri, anyone heard of the famous Ojoo market, lots of lagos pple there, all came to buy the king in ibadan, i'm not sure though if there is anywhere as popular as Ibadan for garri,

kpo kpo is too smooth, don't really like it. Sour garri good to smoke, yellow good for eba gbona gbona,

my grandmother love 1day garri, peeled today, grate and jacked today and then fried today, not good for smoking or you end up with efo (stomach problem)
