You are just mentioning state police like someone who knows absolutely nothing about Nigeria. The only period state police can work in nigeria is if the centre is weak and we practice true federalism or regionalism but not under this type of government we presently practice.

Police Attack Governor Fayemi And Senator Ojudu During APC Rally In Ado Ekiti
A police team led by Gabriel Seleke, a Bayelsa -born MOPOL commander who was former Goodluck Jonathan's Aide De camp when he was Deputy governor in Bayelsa state unleashed violence on All Progressives Congress (APC) members as they embarked on an early morning street rally in Ado -Ekiti. The attack took place in Ijigbo area. The police tear gassed party members and directly shot and killed one person during the attack. MOPOL Commander Seleke also had a verbal altercation with Governor Kayode Fayemi on the scene, a commissioner in the state and one of Fayemi's security aides were later arrested by the police team.
