the refinery in Kaduna is not working presently because of vandalized pipeline. Also, this refinery is not being built by government so the owners can site it anywhere they like

Katsina is closer to the oil field in Niger Republic than oil fields in Nigeria. security of our pipelines in Nigeria cannot be guaranteed

When they heard "crude from Niger", they were stunned - they were stunned not because of the country the crude will be coming from, but because Niger republic shared the same geological environment with the northern Nigeria and , there's a prospect of discovery in the north.

Anybody who genuinely believes that a phantom private investors are the ones building this refinery is an incurable I'd!ot and re.tard! Buhari is the one funding this ill thought refinery project in Katsina 100% through NNPC!! There is no way a project worth $2 billion dollars would be signed purportedly by private investors without these same private investors being visible on ground and online prior to this. Dangote refinery in Lagos was defined from the onset and people knew about it and nothing was ever shrouded in secrecy. I read the report where it was said that NNPC was being invited as observer and I laughed. How a supposed president of a country will leave an oil rich region in the Niger Delta only to be financing a huge refinery at the border of Nigeria with Niger is disturbing to say the least. If truly Nigeria is a united country with one purpose then that refinery should have been built in Akwa Ibom that is relatively peaceful since they will use militancy in the core Niger Delta area as excuse but no, they chose to build it at the border of Nigeria with the aim of using another country's crude when we have excess reserve!! Niger Delta people will be foo.lish and irreversibly stvpid if they allow this great injustice on them to stand.

Kaduna refinery wasn't built to use Niger Delta oil, it has always used Venezuelan heavy crude oil right from inception, so saying that Kaduna refinery is not working because of pipeline vandalism is fallacy. Buhari is the one financing this Katsina refinery with money from Niger Delta yet he is building it at the border with Niger when the same Niger Delta that is laying the golden eggs is sitting on close to 40 billion barrels of crude oil reserves!! I really pity the Niger Delta people because they are being seriously dehumanized, abused, pauperized and left with gross pollution while others feed off of their resources. They would certainly be justified if they take up arms because of this slap on their faces!!

Yes, Kaduna was designed to refine heavy crude. It can also use light crude Nigeria produces. And light or heavy, same pipeline will move the product to Kaduna. So are you claiming the pipeline is okay and the country is buying required crude? Lol
Buhari is financing the refinery? What is budgeted for? Do you have a concept of how much $2B is? Where do you think he will get that money that the secret will not leak? Forget your hate and grow up
