Why should Ghana boast of big businessmen when they have more important things to think about? Is it not stupid and dumb to celebrate few big men whereas over 80% of nigerians are living in abject poverty? Ghanaians are not stupid and dumb like nigerians ok
Lwkmd same Ghanaians dat boast of one local champion called Shatta Wale?? Ghanaians are indeed hypocrites. I think hypocrisy is part of Ghana problem cuz they won't accept their error

And you think it's easy to conquer Nigeria Music Industry??
I laugh in Chinese.

List 5 Ghanaian artists that have blow in Africa aside Sarkodie (who features Naija artists before his songs can cross Ghana borders).
you have comprehension problems
every single nigerian artist who has made it unto the African scene has to come to Ghana for Ghana to propel them unto the African scene
its like a baptism. Just ask all your artist

i dont need to list anyone
the fact that all of your artist are still playing on our tunes is the right answer for you

Funny enough y'all don't really get it. YCee is in Ghana so i didn't expect him to say otherwise, at least he needed to encourage them and make praise them so dey can smile and sleep peacefully unlike what Nasty C and Cassper said earlier this year.
Ask yourself, is there any big artist dat blew up in Naija dat isn't known in Ghana?? do u know that things that trends in Naija are always known by Ghanaians?? It's very rare for anything from Ghana to trend in Naija, but it's easy for anything Nigeria to trend in Ghana. Nigerians don't know how Ghanaians speak their pidgin, but Ghanaians knows how we Nigerians speak our pidgin. Nigerians don't know the tribes and languages spoken in Ghana (they only know dat Ghanaians speak pidgin english), but Ghanaians knows some major tribes in Nigeria. Nigerians don't know the current Ghanaian President name or how he looks like, but Ghanaians know who Buhari is and how he looks like. Ghanaians know people like Adeboye, TB Joshua, Bishop Oyedepo, Pastor Chris and many top Nigerian Pastors, Nigerians don't even know if Ghana has big pastors or not. Ghanaians know Churches like RCCG, LIVING FAITH (WINNERS CHAPEL), SYNAGOGUE CHURCH OF ALL NATION (SCOAN), DEEPER LIVE and many top Nigerian Churches, Nigerians only know these churches have branches in Ghana, they don't know if Ghana has their own Church in Ghana or not. Ghanaians know some of Naija food and how we dress (Traditional aspect), but Nigerians don't have idea of food made in Ghana and how they dress (Traditional aspect). Ghanaians knows some popular Nigerian pidgin slangs and words, but Nigerians barely know any Ghanaian pidgin slang or words apart from, few Nigerians only know dat "Chale" is a Ghanaian word but we don't use it here, it isn't commonly spoken here at all, they only know that the word is a Ghanaian word. Even when Nigerian artists speak Twi in some of their songs, Nigerians won't even know cuz they'll think it's either non-existenting word (e.g SOCO) or a slang or word from one of the various languages spoken in Nigeria, but if a Ghanaian use a Nigerian word or slang in their songs, Ghanaians will surely know it's Nigerian. Nigerians don't know how Ghanaian accent sound like, they'll only know the person isn't a Nigeian, Ghanaians knows Nigerian accent and how we pronounce our words.

The summary is that, whatever is huge in Nigeria, is surely known in Ghana.

So it's not Ghana that introduce our artists to Ghanaians for them to blow in Ghana, it's more like an automatic blow up that once you blow in Naija, u don blow for Ghana too.

The thing is that, as an artist in Africa, if you're known and big in Nigeria, then you'll surely be known all over Music loving African countries.

But the thing is that before the popularity move to other countries, Ghana is the first in line before others follow. It doesn't mean if he/she didn't blow in Ghana he won't blow in other places, it just mean that Ghana is the first country it'll hit before other countries.

Take Sarkodie and One Corner for example. If any Ghanaian Music or Musician is crossing borders, Nigeria will be the first country it'll cross to before any other African country.

If One Corner was destined to blow up in 3 countries outside Ghana, Naija will surely be the first it'll hit before the other two countries. All this is because of the close ties between Nigeria and Ghana and we're the closest ally countries in West Africa even though we don't share borders.

If Ghana were to be in Southern part of Africa, I'm sure Ycee will be talking about Cameroon by now or even Niger, not Ghana.

South Africa has their own too. It's more like there is a rule that you need to conquer another huge Country in your Region before spreading to other countries within and outside your region.

But the way Nigeria Music Industry is currently, once you blow up in Naija, you're automatically big in Ghana and then across other countries.

Now ask yourself, if Ghana truly is the key, why are their artists still local?? As huge as Shatta Wale, he is still as local as a village champion in Nigeria.

Ghanaian musicians will say the same thing that Nigeria Music Industry is the key to dominate the Africa Music Scene and beyond after conquering Ghana.

Now ask yourself, if Ghana truly is the key, why are your artists spending lots of money featuring Nigerian artists on their songs especially when there are more capable Ghanaian artists that can vibe the song better?? You barely see a Nigerian artist featuring Ghanaian artists. Infact that is one of the reasons why Nigerian artists are big in Ghana.
Ghanaian music ain't known here, so when they feature Naija artists, if it becomes a hit in Ghana, they'll know and like the Nigerian artist more than before, but the song doesn't cross to Nigeria for Nigerians to know who the Ghanaian artist is. E.g Shatta Wale x Davido first collabo song in 2014, according to report, the song was a Big HIT in Ghana back then, I'm sure it increased Davido fan base in Ghana, buh song wasn't even known or even heard in Naija. Even Davido fans didn't know cuz Social Media too wasn't as big as it is now (Davido had few twitter followers).
Nigerians going to Ghana don't import anything from Ghana when they come back, they rather import things of Nigeria to Ghana. Infact the Naija-Ghana collabo favour Nigeria in many aspects (Business, Movies, Music and more), Ghanaians barely benefit anything from it.

But same cannot be said about Ghana Music Industry as you can see that the biggest Ghanaian artist (Shatta Wale) who has been the King of GH Music for some years is not even known in Nigeria and many other parts of Africa.

I swear bro... I saw her useless tweets. What she did on dat stage was very unprofessional, that was totally wrong. It is called "TraceNaija" for a reason, not "Trace Africa". Naija artists are always in Ghana and other places promoting their Music here & there, which is one of the reasons why Naija songs are very big there, they shouldn't expect us to promote their stupid songs for free here. You can't say same for Ghanaian artists, they sing their songs at home and care less to promote it beyond the shores of Ghana, they just sit down and expect it to be huge in Naija and elsewhere. Ghanaian artists are extremely Lazy and not good in Business and Promotional aspect of Music (Same Thing for their Dead Movie Industry).

We play American songs in Africa, but they don't play our songs over there (except only when immigrants from Afrifa hosts African theme parties, and it's being done by Africans who knows African Music and artists). Have u seen any African Tv organiser fighting with the White Americans or even the Black Americans why they don't play our songs there?? No, why?? Cuz you have to work for it. Americans worked to build the biggest Entertainment industry that blows all over the World, it didn't happen in a day, they worked for it so they deserve what they get currently for being smarter and hardworking. You can't tell them to promote your songs or artists there just because you play their artists' songs over here. So Nana Aba should know better. It's not like it's only Ghana dat exist in Africa. We don't even play Togo, Niger, Cameroon and other West Africa country's song, but they play ours, we harldy play S.A songs too but they play ours, so why is she complaining like it's only Ghana that is experiencing same treatment?? Those artists from the mentioned countries don't come to promote their songs in Naija.

Right now Nigerians have alot of A-list artists and thousands of Upcoming artists that needs promotions, so they shouldn't expect it to be easy for outsiders to get huge airplays here.

Naija and Ghana ain't the same in terms of size and success in their various Industries. Because they play our songs doesn't mean we'll have to reciprocate that in the same manner. A country serving our content to just 25m people shouldn't be requesting Nigeria to promote their content to 200m people. It doesn't work that way. They'll even be the ones to benefit from it than us cuz with our Success in the African scene and also our Population, we can stand without Ghana, but Ghana can't stand on their own except they want to become local forever.

If not for Azonto becoming huge in Nigeria, it wouldn't have gone viral like it was back then. That's why most people outside Nigeria & Ghana thinks Nigerians created Azonto.

Use Nollywood for example; You can't list top Ghanaian artists that are recognise all over Africa that didn't become popular without Nollywood. All of them became popular after acting in Top Nollywood movies. But same cannot be said about Nollywood actors.

Genevieve, Omotola and other Legends were already huge and big before the so-called Ghanaian movie stars (Majid, Yvonne Nelson, John Dumelo, Van Vicker and others). Those guys were very prominent in Nollywood that they decided to act only in Nollywood movies. Their Ghana Movie Industry were so local that they didn't want to degrade their status in Africa Film Industry by acting in Ghana Movies. Today their Movie Industry is still debating on what they should name their Movie Industry (to either Gollywood or Ghallywood or others) when Nollywood is celebrating Anniversary for starting decades ago, yet they open their dirty mouth and say they thought us how to make films.

In fact the only things Ghanaians are known for is that they always try to rob their Country in Naija success. They always try to prove that they gave us the inspiration that lead to our success. In fact that is even what makes them relevant today, always trying to prove that they inspire us.

Bro, you just buried them in a whole a metal casket, I don't even you know them very deep this way. Nice one
