Another negative mindset n excuse for lazy youths.

I got married in my 20s
Had my 1st child in 20s
2nd child at 30
Bought up to 3 cars b4 30
Already a landlord in 2 different cities b4 30
Etc

I have said it before that prosperity is more of a mental thing.......even though it is not common here in Nigeria doesnt mean pple are not super rich in their 20s. I am talking of legit riches n also not inherited.

You will never see the need of challenging yourself to financial freedom if you already believe you cant make it big in your 20s.

Stop being lazy n negative Naija Yoots

Got married at 20..

I don't blame Nigerian ladies for their materialistic nature...blame the guys.

Nigerians guys mostly use money and luxuries to lure ladies .they use the money to keep the relationship even when they know that there is no true love.when they become broke and ladies jump to another rich dude, they start calling ladies names.

watch how our music and society preach about and encourages using money and luxuries to spoil ladies...this have become norm and culture.

is it possible to keep a spouse that is not money driven with same money?

It is only money driven ladies that get kept with money. How do u even keep someone with money? What he said up there is total trash

in as much as some guys foolishly flaunt money to women they want for their attention, it is only money driven women they will attract.

U can never use money to keep a woman who is not money driven. So what u said up there is not true. And not all men flaunt cash on ladies they are interested in, unless ofcos they just wanna have se.x

There are.

But they are very few.

The Nigerian system doesn't encourage financial stability in your 20's.

In fact, unless you go the extra mile, you may never be financially stable in your entire life in this country.
u are saying they are cos they went extra mile, now remove the extra mile let's see

He doesn't literally mean there are zero financially stable guys in their 20s. He's just saying the chances of finding such guys is very slim.
Besides those guys you are talking about, there are chances that they either have rich parents, or they are into something illegal.
This is Nigeria where most guys haven't even finished NYSC by age 23.

Fine point you were making until you said the people I was referring to were into illegal thing or from rich parent. Neither. They are into legitimate 9-5 jobs, some earming 1m per month. Some into good businesses.

I didn't say they were into illegal stuff. I only said "there are chances". Even Yahoo boys have legitimate business, some of them are even in the music industry. Anyways that's besides the point. The real question is, how many 9-5 jobs in Nigeria will pay a twenty something year old up to 1m per month? Of course there are always exception to every rule but the point is how many?

what will u say about men that flaunt their monies in the woman they like or want to marry? especially when they know the lady won't naturally like them.

then she likes em cos of the money they have. Thats also a material lady. When money no dey again, she immediately looks else where.

The man is also wrong for doing that so they fit themselves for whatever comes after they get together. Its said u attract kinds men/ladies according to what/how u live.
