Sickness is real. So also is death. Sometimes when things are going smoothly for us, we tend to forget that an unsafe act any time could plunge us into misery. Go to the hospital wards and you will see feeble and gloomy faces gasping for breath. That should deter you from not being meticulous. I was once a young man who lived life to the fullest. I joked a lot, was arrogant and flirted with my friends. I remember organising get-together with friends, playing playstation 2 at game stores and playing football in my street. Oh.. The good old days. Now, sickness has confined me to my room

I wonder what exactly caused my complicated throat problem. I remember giving mouth action twice to a girl even when it was obvious to me that she was yet to have her bath. Out of foolish pride, i did it to make an impression. I also remember carelessly swallowing two tablets of drugs together with a chewing gum. Immediately i panicked and tried forcing it out immediately but my effort was in vain. My mum had always warned me to be careful with what i do. I would always dismiss it as her being paranoid unnecessarily. One of these actions have landed me in trouble. I have gotten away before now with a broken finger, swollen anus, injured elbow etc. I didn't learn my lesson. Seems this one is about to take my life

Bro have you gone to ENT specialist (hospital) to know/diagonise what the prob is. You can try government owned hospitals cos it’s less expensive there.

I felt something stuck in my throat, around my voice box [adam apple]. It was more like a lump. Instead of me to go for check up, i didn't. I felt it was a luxury to do that. I kept forcing the obstruction to go down to no avail. One day as i forced, i felt something big move down my throat. That was where the problem escalated. I felt my wind pipe become almost non-existent. It became narrowed to one side. I immediately lost balance and fell to my bed. My trachea issues since then has led to other health issues. I'm just like an animal whose throat is half-slit awaiting to be feasted upon. At that point, it loses balance and becomes restless. Swallowing lump of food has not been easy. After eating at times, instead of feeling okay, i feel discomfort because the food channel is affected. Sometimes the pipe gets twisted and it's as if i'm choking myself. I get to sneeze till i'm relieved. Sometimes i spit incessantly or induce myself to sleep in order to salvage the situation. What about the constant headache and body temperature i get to take panadol extra for every time. Now, i feel so light and weak. It's as if my windpipe is gradually pulling off from the other part of my body. Hmm.. All these could have been avoided if i was not lackadaisical

i've been to a General Hospital and a Private Hospital before now. Nothing was detected. Though they suggested i go for scan which i can't afford. A Teaching Hospital is far off. Nevertheless, the aim of this thread is to advice youths

Health is wealth you should still check your self. I was rough also while growing up, play with many objects. One day I stuck leaf in my nose, blocked my air pipe, no body was around, I fainted instantly i was still very small around 6/5.I woke in a hospital, they said I was half dead, I was previously in coma. They just did small surgical procedure, but I went for check up of recent and they said that stuff is still der and I need operation ASAP. The surgery money was 200k for a GOVERNMENT OWNED HOSPITAL TALK LESS OF PRIVATE. I couldn't do it so now doctor say am 50% asthmatic 50%not! I just brought a disease to my self. I can't still breathe fine uptill now. By his grace if I have enough money I'd do the surgery.
