President Muhammadu Buhari has scored a total of 2,931,235 votes in 44 local government areas of Kano State in the just concluded presidential primary elections of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The primaries were conducted on Friday in the 36 states of the federation and Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

The Kano returning officer of the primary election, who is the state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, said he was impressed by the large turnout of voters in his Ganduje ward in Dawakin Tofa Local Government area of the state.

The governor then restated his pledge to garner over 5 million votes for Mr Buhari come 2019 general election.


“With these figures of over five thousand votes from my ward, Ganduje ward of Dawakin Tofa local government, which only comes from APC card carrying members, it is indicative to the fact that our pledge of over 5 million votes to our dear President in 2019 election is tenable and realisable,” He assured

Mr Ganduje also asserted that Mr Buhari would be voted by other political party stalwarts in the 2019 presidential election.

“People should understand that when the general election comes around, apart from our APC members that would vote for the continuation of President Buhari regime, many more others who belong to other parties would join the queue,” Mr Ganduje was quoted as saying in a statement by his chief press secretary, Abba Anwar.

He noted that even those who do not belong to any political parties, but have their permanent voters card, would opt for voting for Mr Buhari


Mr Ganduje added that the conduct of direct primaries was intended to provide enabling environment for maximum political participation, adding that, “that is the reason why we are solidly behind President Muhammadu Buhari in strengthening democracy at all levels.”

The governor also expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the presidential primary election in all the 44 local government areas of the state

This translates to popular votes being the vest choice for the people.

PMB is simply demonstrating that he is the popular vote of the teeming APC body in Kano.

Your hope in PDP for Kano who happens to be Kwankwaso has never been able to come out from under the shadow of PMB in Kano when it comes to votes and shekarau knows this which was why he gladly defected to APC and also took up the contest to take the senate seat from Kwankwaso which in itself is a done deal.

Kwankwaso will lose both presidency and his seat in senate all thanks to PMB.

This fact of history when it comes to Buhari and kwankwaso when it comes to vote count in Kano cannot be erased, denied or watered down.

I have said it, that elections are never won by the votes of the people in this country. It is won by rigging, you must rig to win or rig to not be rigged out. In the Osun gubernatorial elections PDP was overconfident in the support from the people and APC kept padding their votes to win, and when that attempt failed they declared the election inconclusive knowing full well that the rerun would afford them the opportunity to perfect the rigging. And right under our noses it happened. The 2019 game has already started. APC will rig it again.

2,931,235 / 44 = 66,618. So In Kano yesterday, there were a gathering of people big enough to fill up a 66,618 capacity stadium in 44 difference locations?
