After paying the 2k, I sent an email to the CASHIER OFFICE, asking them to send a receipt to confirm my payment. I told them it was urgent because I needed it to apply for my visa that same day.

They replied my email that same day, by sending me a letter that confirmed that I had paid the 2k,

I didn't take any form with me for the upfront medical. I only went with the documents they asked me to come with (international passport, proof of payment and passport photograph).

Is there a substitute for Int'l passport?

When passport is submitted along with SP application, how can you retrieve it for medicals?

Hey,

I did an upfront medical examination. Hence, I did the medicals before even submitting my study permit application.
In the case where you've submitted your application and a medicals was requested, I want to assume that they'd give you a certain form that you'd take to the hospital that wouldn't require your physical passport to be shown. However, If you have submitted your application via paper and haven't yet been called for medicals, I don't know how that would be done without a passport. Maybe send IOM/Q-life an email to get more perspective on this?

You can ask your department for an official fee schedule it is a document that contains your tuition and board.
As for the 2k you paid you can download your receipt anytime from your student portal.
you can get there by going into memorial self-service,
navigate like so
student main menu,
financial information,
view credit card payment then click on the transaction number to get your full receipts.

Good evening guys, please I need your help. My school resumes 29th of April and I’m yet to receive an update from CIC and it’s almost 3 months now. My passport is with them too, this is also keeping me in Nigeria. What do I do pls

Well for me, I had most of my money in Treasury bill and fixed deposit when I submitted my application., and another huge amount in my pensions account

In my savings account I only had about 250k,and still submitted the statement like that.

Although I paid 2k CAD as initial deposit for my school fees

My visa was approved.

Cash in fixed deposit and treasury bills can be easily made available by liquidating the account /investment and I think the visa officers know that.

But I hope your friend has other money in addition to what his/her sponsor has, because in my opinion, 6 million may not be sufficient fund

U can show them a clear photocopy of your intl passport.. it is accepted,that's if u have been requested to do medicals.if it's an upfront,pls call them to clarify this

House Pls, I requested for my transcript so that I can add it to my documents to present for SP. Now, the Sch said they either send it to my Canadian Sch or the visa office.
Pls, how best do I get to input it into my docs.
I want to get it by hand and add it to docs I need to present.
Another thing, is it advisable to take medical upfront?
