[s]Nigerian are the biggest phoools. APC got to power with restructuring story, we believed and nothing happened. A candidate under PDP is using the same story and they are believing him. Aren't Nigerian very stupid?

They expect Atiku to restructure Nigeria and make the centre where he is positioned to be weak. The position he has been vying for since 1993, he will then weaken it al by himself just like that. I honestly don't know who cursed Nigerians[/s]

It might not be absolute restructuring! But he can take it step by step! For instance, if the Nigerian police is decentralized (Regionalized), you will not hear of Fulani herdsmen killing indigenes and the IGP will not act! If the Nigerian Railway Corporation is decentralized, states can decides to build railways between themselves without waiting for Federal Govt! The same goes for sea port! Southeast today does not have sea port; Portharcourt and Calabar ports are not functional because Federal Govt have centralized every thing in Lagos!

Gbam-

Nigeria will be restructured.

Those against it are in APC.

No. 19 on the list killed it

As They Shift The Attack To Face Oyedepo And Kukah.

Those who saw nothing wrong with the APC that not only garnered the support of Redeemed Christian Church, but actually changed the destiny and nomenclature of her second most powerful pastor Yemi Osinbajo from Pastor to Past Pastor Vice President Osinbajo are complaining about only picture of Oyedepo, Obasanjo and Atiku.

Same people that clapped when Buhari refused to pull his cap inside Redeemed church as he stood next to Adeboye suddenly find Facebook and twitter voice against pastor and a priest in a public library shaking hands with politicians.

And people who shared a Reverend Father Mbaka video INSULTING A SITTING PRESIDENT and calling him BADLUCK and who saw nothing wrong in it and never chastised him now suddenly say "pastors should concentrate on the gospel"

When did you get this epiphany or revelation? Was it on your road to Damascus or Daura that pastors should now concentrate on the gospel, after voting a ticket that had a pastor as vice president? Or maybe only APC need SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE? PDP does not?

They have all been against Buhari for more than 3 yrs yet they have lost nearly all elections in the past 6 months....yeye gathering....Sai Baba...

The Yorubas claim they want restructuring yet they're still backing a government that had said over and over again that it does not believe in restructuring.

Why are they refusing to support a man who has promised to restructure?
This tell you that there are lies in their claims..

They don't want restructuring..
they're supporting Bubu cos they want to take over from him..

Most of them are supporting Bubu cos they still believe he may not be able to make it althrough to 2023.. they re busy praying for the man to die so they'd take over power. Yet they're pretending they wish him well..

In politics talk is cheap. A politician will "promise " just about anything to get into office, especially Nigerian politicians.

Can Atiku Abubakar single handedly restructure Nigeria? If yes, then his promise may count for something. But if there are other factors e.g. legislative arm, the constitution, caucus interests etc, then it will be unwise to buy what he says.

Buhari made promises too, what is the result? Atiku is making promises, so EVERYONE must support him. When will Nigerians especially the youth grow up?

The Yorubas just like the other tribes have the right to choose who they'll vote for in 2019 without apology to anyone. It's their choice.

I keep hoping that the Yorubas on this site aren't the representative of the actual real Yorubas. The lives here are making that ethnicity look bad. I'm so glad that the real Yorubas are starting to speak and redeeming their reputation.

I am a yoruba. Honestly the Yorubas on nairaland are different from what Yorubas stand for.
I really wonder how a yoruba will support this failed and blood sucking Government.

The way you wonder is the same way they wonder. The government has failed to you but not to them. It's a blood sucking government same way it was with previous government. Where were you and your likes when the likes of NOI said the new government will suffer the problems created by the previous government.

Also, some people are fine with PDP at ask rock. It's the same party that ruined Nigeria for 16 years which their flagbearer was a VP for 8 years. It's the same person and party that Nigerians expect miracles from.

Southerners dominate the web, why can't they unite and vote for a strong candidate outside APC and PDP? Why are Nigerians naturally dumb and happy been slaves and zombies? There are more southerners in the north than northerners in the south, why can't just just unite and vote for a Donald Duke, or Fela or Sowore or something? Even their corrupt religious leaders are either APC or PDP and you expect a better Nigeria. Continue jonzing yourselves

Ok nah

Restructuring restructuring ! ! no Northern part of the country and some South west states and even some Eastern States with no access to oil will agree to this issue of restructuring without first of all solving the issue of the more than 85% sources of Nigerian revenue which is the oil and for the oil producing areas insisting on absolute control will never go down well with other parts of the country and the federal authority. Even with the13% allocations to each of the oil producing states Bayelsa state with 8 local government councils monthly allocation from the federal revenue still larger than Oyo and Osun states put together.
The solution to this aspect of restructuring is to agree on the increase in the percentage of revenue oil allocation to the south south and some other oil producing areas from the current 13% to about 20% while the remaining 80% oil revenue should be used purely for Security and defence as well as infrastructural developments like road and rail constructions, energy power supply systems, health care developments and delivery, rise in the G D P educational finances as well as directing our educational system towards a particular goal like the technologically advanced countries; a good example is South Korea with free education at all levels with 85% intake on science and technology and 15% intake on Korean arts and culture which made them the largest ocean going vessels ship builders in the world today. further on restructuring the country should go back to true parliamentary system of government with only one parliament of law administration and a serious review of parliamentarians take homes . Each state of the federation should be made to develop on their own and contribute at an agreed percentage of their generated revenue to the Federal purse.
With this Nigeria is restructured .

exactly.. only then would each region begin to concentrate on developing their regions..
The interest would reduce in the center because there'd be less money in the center..

The traditional rulers govern the rural areas and more money will be coming to them. grin There's two parts the government and the traditional, then there is Christianity and Islam v.s traditional religions. Restructuring will certainly put Nigeria on the path back to a Monarchy and the soon end of the Republic.

why arent we all voting in a landslide for tinubu's party.

Monarchy is a better system than a republic. You can still keep the state just restructure the presidency and replace it with the traditional rulers council as judges, the head of the council would be the head of the state. This could be the Alaafin of Oyo, the OOni, the Emir of Kano or Sultan Sokoto which each can raise large armies. You can still have democracy for governors, senators and city town leaders.

Don't say what you don't know. There are different types of yorubas:
Afonja: these group of yoruba moslems are not redeemable. MURIC, Tinubu attack dogs
Omoluabi: these are the progressive yorubas made of mostly yoruba christians, except Redeem of course, Shia yoruba moslems, OPC, Afenifere. These group of people have minds of their own and are not slavish. But they are not as aggressive and assertive as the Afonjas and they are not noisemakers.

Lol, am just laughing @ur ignorance, u sit at the corner of ur room and making junk analysis, if u are residing anywhere in SW just stop any Yoruba man on the road and tell him are 2-3 different type of Yorubas'.The first question he will ask you is,ar u OK??Yoruba ar not divided in reality, most of u igbo still lack ability to realizes or understand Yoruba mode of politics, u just come here on NL and type gibberish with ur fish brain......

Technically, there is no Yoruba race. when the twin princesses from Oyo founded Ondo, there were indigens already there. When Oodua arrived at Ile Ife, there were indigens already there, when Oranyan founded Oyo (old Oyo / Katunga), it was a Ego group / Oranyan family union.

I think we know from history that when the elite claim to speak for all Yoruba people, it's a power grab attempt.

it’s like wishing for a formula to calculate additions in a world with artificial intelligence, big data and python ( a programming language not the snake). In the future certain societies will send Drones to fight not people , dear wishful thinking brother. Are you serious? The drones will thin out the army in this simplistic plan .

There is nothing to put on the table. The biggest losers if Nigeria is the North, particularly the core North. This because the economy of Nigeria is largely in the South. So how will you convince the core North to agree to something that affect them for the worse?
So Nigeria will never be restructured, the core North will never agree to it

It's called negotiating which is inviting them to discuss it at least. Then it's sweetened by offering them something that they want. Offering land for cattle is out of the question then how about investments in cattle? Offer them money by increasing military salary, offer survivor benefits so when personnel fall in battle they can rest knowing their families are taken care of. Give to each other for the betterment of Nigeria.

There is no economy without the North devoting their entire lives to warrior life and protecting the sorvereignty of Nigeria. 100 soldiers just died for Nigeria and most of them were Fulani. Do you know the type of nasty and evil men who would attack a country rich in resources as Nigeria if not for fear of the Nigerian military? You wouldn't be able to do no business because you would be enslaved or dead. This world is full of evil empires always, and do mean always, looking to trample over peaceful societies.
