Never with a bucket outside the house as you showed in the picture. I had a small baby bath tub. Then later moved on to the bathtub in the bathroom.

Good old dayscheesy. We used to play kozo in primary school and roll tire. But then most times my dad will refuse us mixing with the neighbourhood kids. He would buy toy cars for us and lock us inside while we play with the toy cars in the sitting room. When i noticed some of d neighbourhood kids playing with toyguns and i requested my dad to buy a toygun for me and my bro my dad frowned at me and said he wont buy a toygun for us cos he dont want us to grow up to be armed robbers. I was disappointed i had no toy plastic gun but at least i had my toy cars that was motorised on batteriescheesy.

The lifeless one spoilt everything during 1980s and he wants to finish it after this year, our sons and daughters can no more play again because of the illiterate thing who has made it impossible. Abeg make we send the dullard back to his gay cows for that useless daura village.

My brother please leave politics and let's discuss the good old days. Didn't you read the caption?? SMH

I played none, my childhood was really boring, my parents especially my mum never wanted me to interact with those street kids and it affected my mental and social health, i talked and played with myself when locked indoors by them, an idle mind is the devils workshop, my favourite toy was a hammer, you finish the puzzle

I was on my own and my daughter asked me to draw a television and I quickly drew a nice looking one on her paper ,but to my greatest surprise she screamed "daddy you made mistake I said TV not butterfly! o men!"

Immediately i realized my little girl had never seen the type of TV I grew up with, she was exclusively the flat and curve TV generation , and so seeing two antenna on any structure could only mean one thing......Butterfly !

So when I woke up this morning and my wife showed me these pictures, I smiled with oozing nostalgia knowing that kids in this generation will never understand the indescribable joy that comes with waiting for the TV station to open by 4pm , shifting the antenna to get good signal , manufacturing your own toys and playing some of the best games the world has ever seen, because like westerners our children now live in prisons we either built or rent with our own money with little or no freedom because our society has became saturated with EVIL.

One huge desire that I believe Nigeria can still achieve is the era when we saved money just to buy the Nigerian flag as Independence day celebration approached, a time when kids can mingle, play and make toys irrespective of our religion or ethnic leanings.

Nigeria remains a great country irrespective of our current travails and challenges, if we are able to get things right this time we will surely return our great nation on the path to greatness.

God bless The Federal Republic of Nigeria
Interest/gsm came and wipe all those games off. I played the cooking so much, played suwe, played 10/10,talo wa ninu Ogba na... The indomie generation have the internet and gsm where they play a lot of games including watching pornography0

Yesterday I was watching an Indian program and I watched kids fly kite. Immediately I remembered those days we flew kites and it was so much fun. These days, children do not know what a kite is not to talk of flying kites.

If you lived in Festac Town in the 80's and 90's you will relate to what I am talking about. grin

80s Festac , flying kite was a rite of passage. 5th avenue, you need to be capable of making both paper and nylon type to be street legit. You earn bragging rights if yours stayed highest all afternoon long.

I played the second one with an older friend. He made me a Chelsea fan unknowingly, cos he was an arsenal fan, and he would tell me to choose Chelsea, so he can enjoy the feeling of arsenal thrashing Chelsea. He made me start going to newspaper stands to read sport news too.
