Contrary to your write up and qhat I just quoted you on, the old CIA figures are actually based on the result of an Old Nigerian census that included ethnic and religious data. They probably just did their own little tweaking to it and published it as research. EVeryone knows these western agencies know jackshit about Africa or Nigeria ...

This was where the old figures came from. It was the result of Nigeria's 1963 census, that was done before the civil war.

See, Before G.E.J came to power Ijaws have always been at 2% on that C.I.A and other sources Website. It was when the Niger Delta Militant crisis and Jonathan's ascension occured than They suddenly shot up to 10%.

As you can see, the old figures roughly corresponds to the new one, which was what they had up before like some sort of Ingenious research. Fulani plus Hausa, roughly 29%, Yoruba about 21%, Kanuris about 4%, Ibibis 3.5% yada yada..... They probably tweaked the figures and bumed Igbos up to 18 .... and so forth.....
any figure you calculate for Igbos in a census, multiply it by 1.5 to get d actual figure because majority of them are in foreign lands home n abroad

The only thing we have that is closest to an informed estimate of population spread are the telecoms data (attached below) because it is unbiased in any form, and it clearly shows the SE as the least populated while the SW is the single largest/most populated. Oyo and Ogun population alone are more than those of the SE combined (without including Lagos or Ekiti, Ondo, Osun or Kwara and Yoruba-speaking Kogi).

The data is not based on regional population but ethnic origin and every sane Nigerian knows the number of Igbos living outside the South East is far more than the number living in the South East. For example, Ndigbo are said to make up 45% of Lagos population and own 75% of landed properties in Abuja.

by tomorrow I will send you an excell example of what happened but before then, I want you to ponder over this, an AVERAGE family from other-tribe is
made up of 6 members(father, mother and 4 children) while and AVERAGE family from Hause or Fulani is made up of 10member. if you agreed, at least 80% to this assumption, we can at this point conclude that while other tribe grow their population arithmetically, the northerners had grown theirs geometrically. by tomorrow you will have the data analysis of this theory.

Eagerly waiting..

I am sorry but this is total B.S

No way in Hell Yorubas are 13 point something Percent of Nigeria.
Are you shittting me? grin Funny. Infact any figure below 20% if unacceptable for the Yorubas.

Yorubas must be Superhumans to influence Nigerian and Nigerians as much as they do with just 13.9%

Where are they influencing? This is the effect of not travelling outside one's zone.

Nigeria has 36 states and the FCT. After the indigenes in each of the states, Igbos comes second in population. A fact buttressed by even Kwankwaso when he said the Igbos in the north amount to 10 million, and that he built a mini city in Kano called, " New Enugu".

Why are we afraid to know our ethnicities? Simply put ethnicity in the census questionnaire and tabulate it, the issue would be resolved once and for all.
Imagine if at least 50% of the igbo population all over the country have voters card registered at home.

One idiot would not be calling us 5%.

Our apathy to elections is why we endure insults from Lilliputians.

The Ndoki people of Nigeria are inhabitants of the lower
Niger Delta basin. Most of our people are located on the
southeastern section of the Imo River and the Aba/Azumini
River. Our neighbors are the Annangs in Akwa Ibom State to
the east, Ngwa people to the north, Asa clan to the west and
the Ogonis to the south.
The Justice Mamman Nasir boundary adjustment
commission of 1976 balkanized the Ndokis. The commission
divided our clan between three different states, Abia State,
Akwa Ibom State and Rivers State. Ndoki people occupy all
of the present day Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia
State, seventeen of the twenty villages of Oyibo Local
Government Area of Rivers State and three villages in
Ukanafun Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
There have been several historical documentations about
how the Ndokis migrated to their present day homeland. The
most commonly accepted belief is that we are culturally and
philosophically related to the Bonny and the Opobo people of
Rivers State. History tells us that Eze, the founder of Ndoki,
settled in Obunku Okwanku. His three sons, Ihu Eze,
Nwankwo Eze and Iloko Eze, upon attaining adulthood left
home to set up their own homestead. Ihu, being the oldest
stayed closer to home. Nwankwo and his offsprings founded
Azumini, Akirika and the related villages collectively known
as Ikwuoriator. Ihu and his children founded the Umu Ihueze
group of villages, which includes Umuagbai and Afam. Iloko
and his children founded the Ikwueke group of villages,
which includes Akwete and Obohia.

Don't worry, this time around, Nnamdi Kanu will never give you attention like Ojukwu attempted to.
Meanwhile, Kwara is still under siege, until you reclaim it you will remain a slave.
Talking of 1966, if you are not a Muslim that's always reading a suicide manual called kwoooran, you would have brought out time to read and find out that both tribes have casualties, not one sided .
Embrace western education and get enlightened OK?.. Stop reading Koran
Anyways, war is now over, you guys are now hell bent in mining yourselves to extinction that's why your population is going down..
More heads are still falling as I am typing this.

Again, the attached below is the picture of your shameless parents crying to Ojukwu their Master for help.

According to your piece of Ndoki history, Ndoki people occupying 3 villages in Ukanafun LGA of Akwa Ibom implies that they make up a tribe in the state?! grin Dude the number is too negligible...stop spreading falsehood homey. There's no Igbo tribe in Akwa Ibom, maybe in your dreams though. If you say there a lots of Igbos in Akwa Ibom, I would certainly agree with you. Same can be said about other tribes. Study didn't take into account that Most ethnicity in the south have dynamic populations. That is most migrated populations compared to the north. The biggest migrated are the Igbos, followed by the Yoruba.

The problem with you guys is that you find it hard to accept the bitter truth. Your emotions take the better part of you and force you to want to stick to a convenient narrative - even when it has been proved to be baseless.

There are Igbo natives of Akwa Ibom state! That is a fact. They may not be as much as the Efik, Ibibio or Anang, but they sure hold an equal stake in the state - as far as it goes.

What constitutes being from a state - isn't it the geographical phenomenon of one's dormain falling within the state?

Whether you accept or not, your non-acceptance will not yank them off from within Akwa Ibom. Except if you have another meaning to what coming from a state means.

O please spare me your narrative. If that's what you mean, then there are native Ibibios too in Igbo states example in Abia state and they equally hold a stake in the state as far as it goes. Obviously if you settle in any community for a certain number of years it makes you a part of it, going by that analogy there are Ibibio natives who are also from Igbo speaking states. If that's the case what's the point you are trying to make? Get a grip man. Why is it that guys like you always think you can force people to agree with you but you don't want to see things from other people's perspective? In your words 'Your emotions take the better part of you and force you to want to stick to a convenient narrative - even when it has been proved to be baseless.' The emotional gist seems like a very convenient narrative for you, I've been following your convo on this issue and you throw that around, baselessly if I could borrow that from you.
