The Waziri Adamawa will lose his state to PMB, no doubt.

The National Publicity Secretary of Afenifere, Mr. Yinka Odumakin said:

“When the candidate of their party went to Enugu State, they were not there. A week after they went to the Villa to ask the President to do for them in three months what he could not do for them in three and half years. Now, they have an event in Yola and they were not all there. The advice to those governors is for them to gauge the mood of their people because there are some of them seeking re-election for a second term. Before they start this game, they should try and gauge the mood of of their people correctly "

Keep your fingers crossed! If Atiku had zero chance of winning in the state, the Lamido wouldn't have dared give him such an extremely lofty title lest he draws the ire of the presidency.

When Sanusi was appointed Emir of Kano in 2014, it was an inclination that Jonathan was finished.

All Northern states where the governors abandoned APC for PDP are no longer easy picking for Buhari. These politicians jumped ship from PDP to APC when Buhari's goodwill was so strong that anything associated with him was a winner.

Now they've jumped ship back to PDP. It should be a warning that PMB's popularity has waned amongst the people.

I know of one Fulani boy who was a Buhari Sai Baba fan. Now, he says Buhari has forgotten the poor now that he is in power alluding to the high cost of things in the market

A Hausa man told me out of the blues as I was discussing a totally different subject with him that Buhari isn't coming back. Many are very resentful. We just feel that because he is Hausa Fulani, his kin men people will support him.

He'll loose Gombe and Sokoto. Gombe I'm 90% sure as the present Gombe governor is extremely popular there and he's a PDP man that never decamped

Tambuwal of Sokoto has now gone back to the PDP. It is not a good omen. These guys will campaign for Atiku.

Even if he wins in the core North, it will be by a much smaller margin particularly if Atiku rubs into the faces of the people the hardship PMB brought about by his incompetent policies

He will loose in the South west, South East, and South South.

He will also loose in the Middle belt.

North East and Northwest are dicey but with Atiku in the lead in 4 zones, I don't see how Buhari can win the election,

What do you take Yorubas for? I don't know about anywhere else, but I do know in Yorubaland you need two ingredients to win elections 1) endorsement from traditional rulers; 2) social values and the Yoruba agenda.

In 2015 PDP turned off the traditional rulers and lost the region. The PDP candidate in Lagos campaigned on power sharing with Ibos. It turned off Oba of Lagos and when the news got hinterland what PDP was trying to do in Lagos, all the Obas, all way to Offa, rejected PDP.

Yoruba has its own agenda within the Federation. We practice socialism in Yorubaland traditionally and it is always a priority bullet in any of our political manifestoes, we align with the party that can deliver on socialism. Other factors can arise from outside which would influence our choice in this regard and cause a temporary shift in a different direction in order to preserve the collective race, but without that external interference....our choice and vote is predictable just by observing party manifestoes and agendas.

PDP does not have a manifesto to campaign on and sway SW to Atiku. Even the recent policy document that Atiku published is all fanciful and flashy but is not inclusive of Yoruba agenda.

Have you seen Yoruba agenda? Get a copy and read, then visit PDP website, then visit APC website and compare. After you read it you will get my point.

If the SE wants to prove to be politically savvy, now is the time to fully align with APC/PMB to win landslide in 2019. Doing that is the only thing that can give them a credible claim to 2023 presidency and many neutrals will side with them.

Pitching their tent with an obviously doomed project in Atiku will only increase their anger and frustration after the election must have been won by PMB with the support of SW. And it will be idiotic and stupid to expect SW not to lay a legitimate claim to the presidency in 2023.

How a people blessed with reservoir of business acumen are always found lacking in strategies to succeed in politics is beyond comprehension. Could it be because of their politics of bitterness?
Nobody is interested in 2023.We are interested in 2019.That is when the next election holds.

Yoruba's are swing voters and their votes are based more on those they perceive that will serve their interests rather than simply name.

In 2011 they voted for Jonathan despite Tinubu's rooting for Ribadu. Jonathan amiableness and character won them over. He lost only in Osun state.

In 2015, they voted for Buharigreatly dissappointed at Jonathan's gross incmpetence. The endemic corruption, the lack of discipline and the might of the ragtag Boko Haram did him no good

They were attracted t9 Buharis integrity and incorruptible personality and felt it was antidote to to the Jonathan's years.

Unfortunately they were soon to realize that his impeccable character does not equate to competence.

The economic policies that Buhari introduced which were only fitting for semi educated bricklayer devastated the economy. Lamido Sanusi, a staunch Buharist turned against him pummelling his economic policies and advising his ministers and advisors to speak truth to power. He wouldn't bulge plunging the economy into a devastating recession that led to massive loss of jobs.

Utomi, Rewane and Soludo have also condemned his economic policies as well as the organized private sector.

Yoruba states like Lagos have been badly hitwith a triple whammy of heavy job losses, slow business and sky high prices.

It won't be smooth sailing in the Southwest

As we speak, Yoruba agenda is working under Buhari. That's the bottomline.

Jonathan did not include us in his programme. Atiku has excluded us as well, and we can already see if Atiku were to be President what to expect from PDP....we will be sidelined. When have you known Yoruba to be stupid in political projections? Never! We are not going to be stupid for Atiku or PDP. We are comfortable in APC and with Buhari.

First and foremost, I'm apolitical so busy saying things as they are.

What exactly do you mean that Jonathan did not include Yoruba's in his agenda? The Niger Deltans can also claim the same. Yoruba's too can claim same.

Simply token appointments of representatuves of your tribe does, not mean your interests are protected. Your "brother" is there to serve the country and not his kinsmen. Your sense of belonging because he represents you is delusional.

If your "brother" would make a difference, then the North should be the most advanced region in the country but instead, the most impoverished and with the lowest HDI

If there are good policies on ground, it will permeate all round. And if horrible, it will be felt all round.
