It is not that we have no proof. It is that we don't have any prove/proof that supernatural couldn't exist. If you're a scientist the issue of light movement in space was a big problem. Not until Albert Einstein gave an immortal proof of how it was possible. For centuries scientist couldn't find a proof and at a point scientist falsely speculated that an invisible element called ether was in space and could only be accessible by light.
