Sometimes we feel marriage is a way of escape, but when you don't deal with issues before you marry, you face them in marriage..

(1) Marriage does not end lusting...if you were lusting before, you will continue lusting in marriage except you change.

(2) Marriage does not really transform your originality. Those ways of yours could still spring up in marriage.

(3) Marriage does not stop sexual promiscuity..There is nothing like "I have fornicated enough, let me settle down now in marriage". You only need six months to one year for your old nature to revive. Only God kills promiscuity.

(4) Your marriage format is unique to your marriage..If you use another couple's pattern of marriage, you may live a terrible fake life of struggling.

(5) Your feelings of love will drop for your partner later in marriage. You need to start loving consciously & not based on how you feel.

Marry your best friend, marry someone you love and like, so that as time goes on, when the love is not there, the likeness will hold you people together.

its not a sham madam
its the way we are as humans

Even with parents and their kids

when we are young we can't leave our parents, we love them and see them as our heroes.

As we become teenagers we desire independence and if care is not taken rebellion sets in

if we are not careful when our parents get old we hardly even check up on them as we are concerned about our own lives

at this stage , it takes effort on our part remember to care for them too. That's also if the relationship with them hasn't been destroyed completely due to rebellion, mistrust and disappointments.

In essence , what I'm trying to say is all relationship requires some level of work and compromise to flourish

Love may still be there, but not the intoxicating, romantic one, but a principled love born out of a sense of duty and necessity. It means you love each other not because you feel it but because you have to.

Especially when lust is confused for love such union is eventually blown away like dust.

A very much reason for such circumstance in which couples experience decline in love HONESTLY, HONESTLY, HONESTLY has alot to do with how couples are having their sexual intercourse.

If it's not that type of MINDBLOWING, CONNUBIAL BLISSFUL kind of sexual intercourse INTENTIONALLY aimed at a balanced EQUILIBRUM so as to UNITE, UNSELFISHLY in a PERFECT RESONANCE, PASSIONATELY and with utmost INTENSITY, CONSCIOUSLY, DELIBRATELY and done CONSISTENTLY. LOVE FADES AWAY away with the fleeting of time because their bodies and souls do not go through a proper cultivation of MAKING LOVE but a ROUTINOUS EXERCISE without growth.

Love is like a seed, if not properly cultivated like the op has rightly said using the word "CONSCIOUSLY", it dies.

If you have read ancient manuscripts written in order to ensure a successful matrimony such as the KAMASUTRA, PERFUME GARDEN, one will understand that sex in our age a residue of decadence and decay which has lost all substance meant for binding bodies and souls to not just remain in love but to grow in it blissful.

FACT IS, MARRIAGE COUNSELLORS IN THIS SO CALLED MODERN AGE OF CRUMBLED FAMILY STRUCTURE NOW RECOMMEND TO THEIR CLIENTS TANTRIC SEXUAL PRACTICES OF ANCIENT TIMES AS TO REJUVENATE LOVE LOST BETWEEN COUPLES. ITS A SEXUAL PRACTICE WHICH IS NOT MECHANICAL, B-A-N-G, B-A-N-G, WEAR AND TEAR LIKE IN PORNOGRAPHY, DEHUMANIZING BUT ONE DONE OUT OF RESPECT, EACH THRUST IS WITH THE DEEPEST OF PASSION, AND RECIEVED AS SO. TANTRIC SEX IS VERY MUCH CHARACTERIZED WITH VERY ELONGATED FORE-PLAY.

Other reasons are loss in communication, affection. Those three precious words "I LOVE YOU" spoken sincerely from their hearts do not resonate on each others ear drums anymore. Most importantly from the husband due to the paradox of the mundanity in life called RESPONSIBILITIES with economic attachment in a CAPITALIST WORLD OF CONSUMERISM.

How PREEK want stand like Shaka Zulu Spear to pierce PINK TACCO like before when your mind and her mind is fixed on how to pay your bills which keeps mounting with each phase in your marriage.

It takes CONSCIOUS, DELIBERATE effort to nourishing that, seed, LOVE so it won't die in our REALITY of ups and downs and not our fantasies, that ILLUSION depicted in Mega Billboard cinema love movies.

yeah exactly. it fluctuates. that's why u need to be important in your partner's life so he she can't do without you for too long. that's what keeps the feelings coming back.

Yes this makes sense... Make yourself so useful in marriage that your partner find it hard to live moments without u... Not the one that, if you want pad or pant you'll have to wait for him to get back from work... It's so boring.. As a woman do the needful, let him be surprised u can.

Hard truth. True friendship never fades so it's advisable to marry your best friend. Your friend is your gist partner, you play mate, your partner in crime cheesy So when the love, the butterflies are no longer as it used to be in the earlier years of marriage, the friendship will keep you both together.
