There's no way people will have same view on this. There will surely be plenty different views because people don't think the same way.

This is the 21st century. If a woman wants to walk nude that is her business. Its not an invitation to rape her. Like I said you are better off remianing in Niggeria. Its for your own good.

Old news- 21st century BS.
How has your 21st century ideology created a better world ?.
Your 21st century has virtually turned women to nothing but sex objects and objects of gratification which are like a disposable commodities and sold to the highest bidder like a piece of property .

for your information, I will gladly remain in Nigeria than to be in a place where immorality rules.

Leave her. You don't need to bother about people like that. They're hypocrites who would pretend that nudity & pornography are ok because they copy from western culture. They have no conscience so don't bother about them. Yet they will complain that rape is increasing in Nigeria.

Are people not raped on a daily basis even in the western countries? The rape issue is even more & worse in western countries than here in Nigeria but they will hide it & make their country appear perfect & project only the good part of their country but will be quick to portray Africa as land of evi.l & crime.

Let them continue to deceive themselves.

Dressing is one key factor that can cause rape.
I am not supporting rape or any of those evil but it is part is ready for a catch in a lonely place, ten blame yourself.
When i was ten, just about entering secondary school, i visited my Aunt in Ondo state. She have two sons and on my arrival i was greeted with a warm welcome. That night, when i went to bed, i felt someone touching me. I woke up immediately and it took alot of screeming to get him off me. If i had been alone in that house, d outcome would have been terrible. What did i do to deserve that? Not in support of indecent dressing but it is not an excuse for rape

Reported Rapes Increased Second Year In a Row

The number of rapes reported to law enforcement increased for the second straight year in 2015, according to statistics released by the FBI on Monday.

From 2014 to 2015, the number of reported rapes—using the FBI‘s legacy (as in, outdated) definition of rape, per its website, as “the carnal knowledge of a female forcibly and against her will”—rose by 6.3%. There were 90,185 rapes reported in 2015, up from the 84,864 reported in 2014 and the 82,109 reported in 2013.

The FBI altered its definition of rape in 2013 to include, per its website, “penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim.”

These new numbers don’t necessarily mean that more people are being raped—they mean that more rapes are being reported to law enforcement. According to statistics from the Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network, 2 out of 3 sexual assaults won’t be reported to police.

From the above can we agree that even rape still occur despite the so-called liberation of women by the way they choose to dress.

We can't keep acting as if these are just some figures pulled out from thin air.

Even your beautiful America is not left out of the rape culture.

Deal with this.

Madam I am sorry for the ordeal you suffered years ago from those animals.
But it does not still detract from the fact that indecent dressing is also a contributory factor.
Yiu can't rule that out, if a girl bares her cleavage and exposes are thighs in seclusion with a stranger whom she does not know, then there are high chances the man if he has been used to sleeping with ladies violently or may even try to get down with the lady forcefully.

This is why I said in one of my post that ladies should avoid intermingling with males especially youths(their blood too dey hot).

I, personally do not like being in a secluded area with a lady I am not related to or even married to because I can't really trust myself (I am not saying I am rapist, God forbid) because most of us easily get tempted and many things can happen within that short time.

In all, I do not support rape but ladies should learn to avoid secluded places and wear something decent lest you attract flies (rapist) who would do anything to get underneath.
You guys have more role to play than you wouldn't want to admit

We pray Almighty God keep on protecting all our female folks who are still decent from marauding animals.

How can you justify such a thing with dressing or anything of that nature.
hello i dont think anyone in his right senses wil justify rape with dressing.but you see the world is changing everyday,so as a lady if u know that wearing skimpy clothes that exposes sensitive areas,is one of the causes of rape..how about u dress well??must u expose ur body before u dress well..they are many men out there who cant control their sexual urge and are moved by any little exposure from a lady.be on a safer side girl..

Madam, you brought up the West as an ideal example and I gave you a reply to that effect.

If indecent dressing does not contribute to rape then how come the most indecently dressed nation of the world (America) have more rape cases as each year goes by, if we were to apply your logic that indecent dressing is not a contributory factor.
You can't call one fish and the other foul.
There has to be a line of difference.

We know Saudi Arabia to be religious country and I can tell you for free that the reported cases of rape are the least in the world because the society is well regulated :you don't dress the way you like simply because it is your body or intermingle with men just the way you like.
They understand it is more safer for the women to abide by these rule knowing not all men are sane enough to control themselves.

Please, I am not saying you should not dress the way you like, but don't complain if anything happens to you.
This is Africa not America.

Bring your examples let us discuss them. lipsrsealed

Bring your examples let us discuss them. lipsrsealed[sup]

You dont act on a whim but you know Im a woman and you know I live in the US. For you the west is US. Since you are an expert on rape, what will you say about the 'few' incidents of rape in Saudi? Was that s a result of indecent dresing? What of the rape of children? I assume its indecent dresing too. Tell me about the men getting raped too( Oh yes its an issue i some countries) will U say its dressing too?

We should condemn this kind of statement from a man, and so what if I dress to make myself happy? Men that rape little children, were they dressed anyhow too, the little children? Tayo Demola you have made sense a lot before but this one eh, I disagree.

The issue is that many things cause rape but these guys will choose to heap the blames on women for their own misdeeds or should I say their own mistakes so to speak. May be because here I see that there is not much punishment for rapists. Many of them go scot free.

No punishment for rape? Are you really in this country? And for how long have you been in this country? Ok why don't you join your own voice to the issue by practically refraining from immoral dressing? Hope you're not one of them who wear skimpy clothes all around the place? We know it's not an excuse for rapists but if women dress modestly it will go a long way to reduce the problem.

First of all, you ladies should check your dressing, you people dress any how, as far as I'm concerned, Tayo Demola is saying the truth which you people will never agree with. Except only those who understand what he's saying.

I'm surprised they're attacking the innocent guy when it's obvious he is saying the truth. It's just that these ladies don't like being told the truth.

And how do you feel exposing your body as a lady? Does it make you feel like a normal human being?

Ma'am you are still getting this whole thing wrong.
I never said indecent dressing was the 'only' reason for rape.
I said it is a contributory factor not THE factor.

Rape incident that happen Saudi Arabia can't be linked directly to indecent dressing like I mentioned in one of my replies.
Factors such being in seclusion with a stranger and wanton intermingling these are the possible factors that can cause rape over there.

I only mentioned indecent dressing according to the peculiarities in our clime(Nigeria) knowing our zero tolerance for it.

Read my replies again.
