Thank you for this advice. I’ve completed the malaria drug yet son of man is still feverish. I guess I’ve got cold flu and not malaria like I thought. I learnt it takes 2 weeks to clear out.
My welcome to Canada experience.

For those of us who still use public transport. Please get a face mask or balaclava. The way people sneeze and cough anyhow in buses, I’m sure na there I get the flu.

Yep.
Public transport is free ticket for flu.

Welcome. I'm a PR.

We had our first snow fall today

Hello, please my wife and I will be coming to Edmonton Canada on Nov ending. How do we go about accomodation? We need somewhere close to MacEwan University. It's winter and we don't want to be caught in the cold or spend money on Airbnb as we have a tight budget

I was offered free flu vaccine yesterday but son of man rejected it. What do you think? I’ve got a phobia for vaccines. 🥴

So the time here in Ontario dunno about other provinces (the country just big anyhow, Ontario a single province is bigger than Nigeria!)has changed. We have to adjust our watches 1hr behind.

they want to use your application to claim USD at official rate from the bank and pocket the difference.

it is more complicated, but this is the best way i can summarise what is going on.
Hmm....interesting, very interesting!

Well, generally, unless you have someone here/guarantor who can secure a lease for you, you would need to get an airbnb or short term rental for some time while looking for your permanent rental.McEwan Univ is pretty close to downtown Edmonton so transit should be great.
Short term rentals(like a month or two) are much cheaper than airbnbs but also very hard to get.You should try joining Edmonton facebook rental groups to ask if you can get one temporarily.

As for the longterm rental, your best bet is Rentfaster. There are alot on facebook marketplace but too many scams over there. For apartments, you should be able to get 1bedroom at about $1200 and 2bedroom at about $1500.Heat and water are generally already included.Personally,we live in a 2bedroom spacious apartment in the West side at $1395 with underground parking included.

Abeg experts in the house help me out here. The time to get our Canadian mobile is here and I need your advice.

We have used our French data for a few months now (20 euros per month) but it is time to get a Canadian mobile plan.

We used textme plus our French mone but time to do a full switch.

What mobile data do you use. We are in the GTA. Does 50 dollars à month for 40 GB with Freedom mobile make sense?

Huge gulf in mobile communication between Canada and France by the way. The gulf is scary.

I use freedom and it's pretty cheap and reliable, after few months of usage, call them and they'll give you discount, the only con is that it isn't available everywhere, like if you live in Calgary and you're traveling to Edmonton, you might not really have service till you get to Edmonton outside that, it's awesome
