Foreign Affairs / Re: Hillary Clinton To Change Her Twitter Bio After Chimamanda Adichie's Criticism by 4C2215131: 1:19pm On Apr 24, 2018
Mikora:

It wasn't a CV my dear, it was a social media bio undecided anyone is free to describe themselves anyhow they so please on their bio. Hilary Clinton's bio also included other descriptions like former presidential aspirant, hair expert,Flotus e.t.c why would chimamanda leave all the other descriptions and pick offence with 'wife' and 'mother' on someone else's twitter bio? What's wrong in Clinton describing herself as a good wife and a good mother? Is feminism now against women being good wives and good mothers and being proud of it? Chimamanda was just being foolish. I know that academic excellence has not always equated to being wise and this is just a perfect example. Chimamanda hasn't done up to half of what Clinton has done to advocate for equal rights for women and yet she thinks she can attack her for being proud of her role as a wife to her husband and mother to her daughter. Chimamanda is a big fool, an intelligent one but a fool nonetheless

Quite the oxymoron you got there.

Give them 10 million on what basis. They should apply to the foundation. The only privilege they have is to support Mr. Mikel and work for him to earn a living without an interview. The mentality in the text is telling. Yes God blesses but even that is not by luck. Paul said, 'I worked harder than all the other apostles' all of which were physically with Jesus. So acknowledging luck or in Christianity (grace) does not foreclose what a man has to do for himself. If he had written a proposal at the time of thefoundation lauch as to how to make it a success, he won't be having this complaint today. People must learn to add value to others as a means of gaining value. If you earn thousands today and want millions tomorrow, add value to millionaires or the million naira ideas they inspire. Even God Almighty runs from folks who only come around when they are needy.

You've made your point but please don't bring God into this. He's just too deep for you to fathom His ways.

Politics / Re: Fani-kayode Backs CAN On Buhari, Hails Oyedepo by 4C2215131: 9:15am On Apr 24, 2018
Ebullience:
A former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has hailed Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church and the Christian Association of Nigeria on their recent comments over the state of the nation.

He quoted Rev. Sampson O. Ayokunle, CAN President, as likening the leadership style of Buhari to a blind man leading men that could see.

Fani-Kayode wrote, “How can a semi-illiterate lead a nation of almost 200 million people? It is like a blind man leading men that can see!

“Rev. Sampson O. Ayokunle, President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Port Harcourt, 23rd April 2018.”

He also supported the Sunday’s outburst by Oyedepo where he pointedly told Buhari that God was angry with him,

The ex-minister wrote, “Can I tell you my anger against this Government? No feeling for human lives. You know what God said? I am angry with the wicked everyday. You see where “change” has brought us today since 2015? If you bring the scoresheet out, it is 0%. You better wake up so you don’t suffer the Nigerian kind of change. Defending killers! God’s judgement will hit! If you are happy with what God is angry with, you are ungodly. Those who have made others childless, wifeless, husbandless, so shall they become! Bishop David Oyedepo, Winners Chapel, Canaan Land, Ota, 22nd April 2018.”

http://dailypost.ng/2018/04/23/fani-kayode-backs-can-buhari-hails-oyedep/

Oyedepo needs some good rest time if his look in that picture is anything to go by. He should go on a vacation or something, take some time off, kick up his feet and have some nice time with his woman.

God will understand.

Haba! You should have made this point from the get-go. It took two replies and three posts from you to arrive here. Too long for me. Now that we are here, let's address the issue.

What are the merits of a wife preferring a professional title please? I looked at Mrs. Clinton's (this should vex Chimamanda a little more but I'm sorry ma'am) profile and saw that she included her professional titles in her bio. What then is the problem?

Chimamanda is upset with herself because she put WIFE first, MOTHER second while Mr. Clinton didn't start his with HUSBAND and FATHER. To her annoyance, I ask why the comparison? Is that why we are in this world? To be comparing ourselves with our peers or partners?

I haven't attacked her though, I have expressed my concerns and feelings about how she's taking this advice/counsel/interrogation of a thing in the light of feminism.

Cee-C was used and dumped by BBN.

She was needed to add spice to the house (would have been a very boring house without all the drama she brought) but they also knew she couldn't (no, change that to "shouldn't") win. It'd have been too controversial for the organizers and its all about business after all (they have a rep to take care of more-so in a society as hypocritically conservative as Nigeria).

For those cheering her on, y'all are so wicked as I can bet that nonya will want to be with a lady that exhibits the kind of character traits she does...even if you were gay!

ChangeIsCostant:
Nigerian wrestler and 8-time African champion, Blessing Oborududu, came from behind to defeat Canada’s Danielle Lappage 4-3 and claim the gold medal at stake in the 68kg weight category at the Commonwealth Games in Australia. On her way to claiming the gold medal, the 29-year old Niger Delta University undergraduate had brushed aside Lilian Ntigha (Kenya), Sherin Sultana (Bangladesh) and Divya Kakran.

Her wild, minute-long victory celebration, left the referee waiting to declare a victor.

The Nigerian wrestler started by rolling along the mat to the edge, was picked up by her coach and carried back into the middle, and just as the ref was about to raise her arm, Oborududu dropped to the mat and began rolling around again.

Oborududu was still screaming as the ref called for the pair to shake hands. Her opponent, Lappage was less impressed, before walking away as Oborududu appeared to open her arms for a hug.

This is one of the banes of Jumia.

They have to institute an excellent QA department immediately (if they currently have one, it's sadly not working).

jobbers:
the problem jumia has are numerous and they will continue to fail .

firstly they fail to learn from konga new business model which is working for konga now.they care so much about their buyers more than their sellers forgetting the fact that top eccommerce like amazon aliexpress dhgate ebay among others makes sellers top priorities and this encourage the sellers to work harder.jumia set up strict measures which discourage many of their sellers and most of the top sellers has left the platform because they continue to lose money.when you partner with an eccomerce company and in returns its all lost.you will have to give way.

no one is in support of low quality items but nigerian business model both the players and the other parties want to eat their cake and have it.we are in a country where buyers will order a cloth online and use it for an occassion ,few days after the occassion the said buyer will call jumia and tell them it is wrong size or even lied that its fake ...just to get his or her money back.the so called jumia staffs which aren't even happy with their working conditions are also part of jumia's problem.they will just inform thr said buyer to return the item immediately and they will refund the buyer which means the said seller has beared one lost.items returned in that shape can't be resold.those are part of the major problems .some of the items are rejected and jumia kept paying debts that they created and accummulated all by themselves .

they don't verify claims.they are quick to judge.they put their sellers last in a business model where you hardly get a returning customers.maybe because konga understood the business model because it is an indiginous company and what kills konga was just the pay on delivery tactics which in return cost total loss in running logistics.too many unserious buyers will place orders coz internet is cheap and some of this orders may be going to the north or east and the orders are pay on delivery .when delivery man get to the location the customer will fail to pick up their calls because they don't want the item in the first place. this result to one lost on fueling and Logistics, another lost on cost of promoting that particular order using adsense or facebook or other platforms which are expensive and also labour loss .you need to pay staff either item was successfully delivered or not.

as trust issues continues.the only business model that will work for an eccommerce company in nigeria is pay before delivery no matter what .if you order for something and you pay for it.you will be around to pick it up or make arrangement to pick up.

if amazon and alibaba among others are still running jumia's old business model.they would have failed long time ago. inasmuch as jumia is trying to create a business model that works.they have to emulate their competitors and restrategize.

You made good points BUT sellers too sell fake things for Jumia abeg!

First of all,
Why is your monicker "RetiredMumu" because your writeup and grammar shows you are still very active.

With that said.
I doubt it was masturbation or pornography that ruined your life.
Because the most successful people in the world watch porn and jerk off too.
Lots of your pastors and Imams are addicts too.
I am an addict to both and I couldn't request for a life any better than the one I lead.

Masturbation is a facet of self-discovery and also the purest literal way of loving one's self. You can't love someone right till you learn to love yourself.
That is why you should masturbate.

Check yourself well and go for a church deliverance to fix your destroyed life because I'm suspecting it is spiritual.
Maybe you were masturbating with hair relaxers instead of lubes or watching porn shot with 3 megapixel low-end camera phones rather than HD videos for you to hate both this much.

My brother , and to others viewing this thread ...good day .

I strongly believe you guys are going about this the wrong way . It's not an issue of age difference or financial incentive that concerns me but rather ...the personality of the OP and if he has the tools to survive in a marriage to such a woman .

Ordinarily I am strongly against the idea of marriage where the man is not an alpha male who uses his " frame " to control the relationship . I strongly believe that the only reason one should marry is only for legal convenience and children .

So to the OP may I ask a couple of questions ? What is your relationship with this woman like ?

Who is more dominant most of the times in this relationship ? ( I say most of the times because dominance shifts subconsciously or otherwise ).

The fact that you have to bring this to this forum ...tells me that you are severally lacking in the relationship mental department but don't worry you are not alone .

You as a man there are certain things you must constantly exhibit in your relationships and that is covert and overt control ( frame ) .

Truth be told if you have a beta mindset as against an alpha mindset do not go into marriage . Not saying it won't work . Just saying you won't know how to handle issues . Which could lead to regret .

I've been with women older than me before ...and it's no different . You are the only constant factor here . At age 24 what are you getting married for tho ? What have you achieved in life ?

I clearly see you are suffering from " onenitis " ...she is the one syndrome . These are all signs of a beta mindset ...

If you think I'm wrong ...go read up on the red pill theory .

Read the book ' the great female con ' .

Read www.therationalemale.com ... The teachings of Rollo tomassi .

Unplug yourself from the matrix of social convention .

All the best .

Add to OP's pre-marriage literature the classic titled; The Manipulated Man by Esther Vilar.

Regards.
