and pls someone pls help me say a prayer that wenger should let almunia go. jeez, this type of things are what makes me dislike the man. to what end will keeping almunia serve? |
personally, im sick of the transfer season already. shift this boys, lets know what we have to work with next season, let the footy just start abeg. complaining about diabolical and aluminium was better than this crap. its tedious, reading the papers, surfing sports site is just terrible, all manner of brainless hogwash. MCHEEWW!!! |
both. the one in the shot is mini but as far as i can tell the only difference is that the mobile uses adobe flash if installed and is way larger and runs javascript. guess other differences are not so apparent for download they are the same |
@ fanistic uninstall that byte tornado. its useless jare. thats not a manager, its opera. it resumes downloads too as long as u dont kill the app. |
duduspace:i tire o, i underscore the bolded and second it. na today? its not as if they were winning anything before so. . . . . . . . . , pple just like having something to complain about. |
with due respect @lakeside and hannie, you guys are very wrong. arsenal will remain competitive, whats in doubt is winning. even on that point i am very optimistic. as long as almunia gets flogged off and squillaci does not play important games, we are fine. hearing cescapade may be resolved by tomorrow. good news. let them go and lets take stock. all u folks complaining about not signing messi type of players , i wnt to inform you that you are supporting the wrong team. since wenger took over there has been only one genuine WOW player signed, dennis bergkamp. name another. mind arshavin was NOT a wow signing. he was in russia and was not much and has not amounted to much. abi will he qualify as a legend? he cant even shine freddie‘s boots. # FACT point is all our heroes were made not bought. another hero or heroes will rise. If u want galacticos go to madrid. besides its not news nor rocket science that the club cannot afford those splashes of cash. deal with it. besides how come its when players want to leave arsenal that everybody remembers they are worldclass? no be the same nasri? na wah o. flamini anyone? a good season or half season does not a world class player make. same nasri that bottled it at bolton and killed the title challenge. arseblog is a wonderful blog. bloke speaks soo much sense. ini anyone? a good season or half season does not a world class player make. same nasri that bottled it at bolton and killed the title challenge. arseblog is a wonderful blog. bloke speaks soo much sense. |

@ v3, stop feeding the trolls joor. why u dey open teeth. |
meanwhile, in other news: http://www.football365.com/arsenal/7021179/-15m-Injury- Diaby injury could cost £15m According to The Daily Mirror's John Cross, the journalist considered to be closest to Arsenal, Diaby is 'available for transfer' but is unlikely to be sold this summer because 'he is injured and is likely to miss the start of the season and Arsenal will struggle to shift the £60,000-a-week midfielder in that condition'. Presuming that figure is roughly correct and that Arsenal would expect to receive £10m for the French international, his latest setback thus adds up to a £15m setback. Food for thought, surely, for those Arsenal supporters contemplating a 6.5% increase in the price of their season tickets. It remains unclear, meanwhile, just when and how Diaby's latest injury was inflicted given that the Gunners only returned to training on Monday and, after a month on the sidelines, he briefly returned to fitness for their final match of last season. pls what did these ones smoke? re.ta.rd.s |
@ debosky, i go fight u o, no dey change my word. I REPEAT, ARSENAL WILL WIN THE LEAGUE this coming season. take it to the bank, frame it, save it, do whatever you like with it. QUOTE ME ANYWHERE, I BET MY BOTTOM DOLLAR ON THIS. come on, we just successfully weakened man city defence line and got paid for it, smart ![]() |

na una sabi. wetin una come want make burnley fans do na. if pride nor dey try create am jare. meanwhile am i the only one who finds it ridiculous that we are being quoted twenty mill for a half season wonder with one yr left on his contract whilst some f. o. o. ls from spain are quoting twenty seven for a consistent, world class performer with four year contract? left to me i sell to someone else or let the chap contract run out. this is all very annoying |
in the last. 7 yrs u forgot liverpool, tottenham, westham and wont having pple like. dayokanu keep their gobs shut be so heavenly. anyway, i know not for you pple o. i am now convinced arsenal will win the league if wenger doesnt leave. Go Gunners |
rotflmfao. jeez |
nonsense. rubbish talk i say. are u people trying to tell me that without being able spend money like our rivals we are doomed and cannot win anythin? i disagree strongly. u are trying to say supporting arsenal is a waste of time and i will not have that. GO GUNNERS this season is ours. afterall other poor clubs havent spent like mancity and managed a trophy win. abeg jare. notin spoil and pls why is debosky using my name to describe whatever ridiculous insane babble his sorry excuse for a brain has brought up? hmmn e be like something dey worry tht ur stoopid mouth cum hand. better respect urself |

@ v3, wetin i do? ![]() i nor do nada o, abi wetin i write wey bad? me sef meet pple on this board and i never took my time to insult them with my limited knowledge. |
NOW I HAVE HEARD EVERYTHING. there is somebody who sits in front of a computer who actually believes windows aero, (a feature that was shamelessly copied from KDE glass effect) makes a better GUI. really cannot join issues with you tho. when it comes to tech discussions on OS/PC issues, your horizons are pretty limited. and for your info, on UNIX boards its not common practice to engage in insult matches. your insults was totally unwarranted, even if you dont know what FUD means. you wont make friends here with that attitude. and stop posting google searches here. ever heard of plagiarism? E.O.D beebee2000:hmmn, ok. u may try this. if it does not work. i will teach you anor way to do it, which will be a bit more geeky. YOUR PC BIOS MUST BE CAPABLE OF BOOTING FROM USB. YOU MUST CHANGE THE BOOT ORDER TO BOOT USB FIRST. download the ubuntu .iso file. make sure its not a corrupt one. download a software called unetbootin. make sure its the latest version. its on sourceforge. just google. start unetbootin as administrator, select the ubuntu iso. choose the appropriate ubuntu version (make sure) choose the external drive in the menu part. MAKE SURE U CHOOSE THE PROPER DRIVE. check the letter windows assigns to it when u plug it in. then i recommend formating the entire drive. you may also partition tho, but then you have to deal with the MBR issues install the iso with unetbootin, install the bootloader ON THE EXTERNAL DRIVE TOO. when its through, just reboot the pc, it should boot the drive. there is no practical difference in this and setting up a thumb drive. hope u can deal with this? or are you very new to all this gig? cos in that case, every step may require detailed explanation |
ok, ALLOW ME TO MAKE A PREDICTION: Arsene Wenger will not start the season as arsenal coach. the writing is on the wall. i think this has come to a head now and the ball must drop. a team of w_anksters like eboue and diaby, with wet behind the ears boys like wilshere, lansbury etc?? i dont believe even wenger will stand for that. or will he? |
LOL, asscend, u wan make dem decapitate your head for here? the goons are coming o ![]() anyways, more gems: QUOTE: "Waiting With Wenger Arsene Wenger tries to explain why Arsenal's only business so far this summer has been the purchase of an unknown 19-year-old: "We are in a waiting period, everybody is waiting that the other [club] moves. Everybody has their cards in [their] hands, hoping for the big transfer. There is nothing moving yet." Everybody's waiting, nothing is moving yet and there haven't been big transfers? So presumably he missed Man Utd - the team Arsenal need to catch to win the league - spending over £50m on three players (at least one of whom Arsenal badly need). Or Liverpool dishing out £15-20m on one player. Or Sunderland's five transfers and Newcastle's four. And it's not just in England. Real Madrid have spent 25m euro on bringing in four players. Newly minted Malaga have spent another 25m euro on six players. Even Valencia, who are more in debt than Greece, have managed to make two signings for 15m euro. In Italy, Juve have splashed out 36m euro on seven players, Roma 20m on two, and Milan have brought in three new signings. In Germany, Bayern have spent 25m euro on three players. But apart from that, Arsene's right. Very little's been happening. Best to wait and see how things pan out." HOW DO THESE FOLKS SLEEP AT NIGHT?!! |
the blogosphere is absolutely banging today. u pple need to step up your games on this thread, come on, more gems: QUOTE: "Another year and another transfer saga surrounds the Arsenal. The Cescapade was expected but the rumours related to Clichy and Nasri are highly unwelcome. While, admittedly, a lot of the blame falls on the shoulders of Monsieur Wenger, the question has to be asked, where is Silent Stan? For someone seeking to gain ownership of a club he has to show intent and determination to take the club up to the next level and for Arsenal that can be accomplished by holding on to its best players as well as bringing in impact signings. The chase for Gervinho, Alvarez, Cahill and Samba has been dragged on for too long and with all four players openly confessing to want to play for Arsenal the only issue can be the lack of a substantial bid. If Nasri's future at Arsenal depends on big name signings and all separated from Arsenal only due to unacceptable bids then Mr. Kroenke needs to step in a provide some much needed funding. Holding on to Nasri and bringing in established players with his financial backing will only improve his reputation amongst the Arsenal faithful and help him get control of the Board. Breaking his silence could be the best thing to happen to Silent Stan, Arsenal and Arsene's managerial reputation." APPARENTLY THE MUMU ABOVE HAS ACCESS TO THE INNER SANCTUM AT ARSENAL AND KNOW WHAT GOES ON THERE. QUOTE: "Ben, THFC, London asked a surprising question. Why would anyone want to play for Arsenal, if they let players like their captain Cesc and Nasri leave. I thought the answer would be obvious, because if your Ramsey or Wilshire, you get a guaranteed starting spot on a team who consistently play in the CL, play a pleasing brand of football and also tend to overpay you when you show even slight promise, exhibit A - Bendtner, Denilson, Rosicky, Almunia etc, who they cant even give away, as nobody else wants to match their Arsenal salaries for limited and injury prone players like them. Then once your established you can leave in search of trophies if you haven't won anything at Arsenal. In fact Arsenal has got a reputation for giving young players a chance in the first team and hence you have players (like Ramsey and now Oxlade Chamberlain) picking them above united. I'd fathom this is due to the fact that Arsenal don't buy world class talent and rather rely on youngsters, so its easier to break into the first team, so they will continue to attract the cream of the young talent as long as Wenger is the manager. Finally can the Arsenal fans calm down, you are still in the CL, Arsene has promised to buy players (and you are linked with a couple of exciting young players) and even if you guys lose Cesc and Nasri, you have players like Ramsey,Wishire who are capable of stepping up and filling the void. Arsenal fans keep pretending that the cash is there, do any of you know that for a fact? Isn't it just possible that Arsenal have not had much cash to spend due to the new stadium costs. I know its probably just a minority who want Wenger gone, just like we have our idiots who demand SAF be ousted as he didn't buy the players they bought in football manager. Personally I don't think you guys will know how good you have it until Arsene gets tired of the fan backlash and just leaves. Then you guys are suddenly saddled with an average manager play boring (read City) like football and still possibly winning nothing, especially if the money is not really there." THIS ONE ABSOLUTELY MUST EITHER BE DEBOSKY, OR HIS TWIN BROTHER ![]() the word of the day, infact season is : CESCAPADE ![]() COPYRIGHT (C) 4llerbuntu inc. |
quote: "The anger that is bound to be sparked by the departures of Nasri and Fabregas will hardly be quelled if, as announced by The Daily Mirror, Wenger opts to respond by launching a bid for Kevin Doyle, a striker who has scored 14 goals in 59 appearances since Wolves' return to the top flight. There will also be widespread bafflement if Arsenal sanction the departures of three established first-teamers in Clichy, Fabregas and Nasri whilst retaining the raft of deadwood in their bloated squad. Hitherto, the Gunners have failed to offload any of the likes of Sebastien Squillaci, Denilson, Abou Diaby, Tomas Rosicky, Carlos Vela and Nicklas Bendtner." ![]() hilarious what you get to read from some webpages. im wasting my talent, i should be writing anti-arsene articles for newspapers and websites in england ![]() omo pple dey vex. see wetin men dey write for blogosphere: Quote: "Unfortunately, if Arsenal want to stay in touch with the 'Big Three' it appears they will have to adopt the same approach by obtaining a 'sugar daddy'. Bearing in mind that the club has been able to be part of the 'Big Four' whist catering for a new stadium and on a pretty modest budget (don't mention wages as Arsenal include all staff who work for the club on their lists and the players wages actually puts us about fifth) ![]() I had not thought this until seeing how the other three are sniffing around our players or/and waiting for Arsene to go for somebody and then gazumping him and Arsenal to obtain that player; it's almost as if they have all got together and agreed to get rid of this pesky hanger on ! I sincerely hope Arsenal don't have to go down the same avenue to stay up there but if they do, it will most probably mean the end of Wenger's involvement with the club and, possibly (I can never be sure until something happens !), my interest in the club. As for Fabregas and Nasri. We have won nothing with them and so what difference will it make if we win nothing not having them ? Oliver Dziggel, you over estimate yourself. Who's to say that if you and your colleagues left tomorrow that your employer's don't have a couple of cheaper, more enthusiastic replacements to fill your roles. Ramsey and Wilshere are pretty hot on the Keyboard and, from what I've noticed work better together than Nasri and Fabregas !! " |
@ debosky, is clichy moving a bad thing? if yes, why? |
i managed to uninstall my keyboard. (dont ask) i dont feel like flashing a new rom anymore. what am i gonna do? |
hmnnnn. orisirisi. abeg since when did it become so hard to sell players? let whoever wants to go, go. before preseason starts so preseason will at least be useful. not selling a week into the season or on transfer deadline and even doing more damage. let no one castigate any player, they are proffessionals, not charitable organisations. who here will not move jobs if offered twice or three times his current wages? say what u will, its easier to be unhappy whilst rich. talk of trophies are another matter. everybody must be honest about this point, arsenal have not and do not show sufficient ambition. truth is bitter, let these bois go. |
all this drama has resulted from that unique logic applied during the last elections where nigerians somehow managed to separate GEJ from his roots and platform. hence we magically heard "we voted goodluck and not pdp". vey interesting how that is working out now. i dont understand just how anyone could believe anything good can come out of the PDP. anyway, the altruism that a people get the leaders they deserve rings true in the nigeran case. we just start. i wager that until and unless this nation is literally killed, we will not see a rebirth and true change |
GUI not as rich as windows? guy stop spreading FUD. every tom dck and harry knows that when it comes to bling, design and beauty, linux DE floors windows hands down. research more before u make such statements. are u even aware that windows 7 copied the KDE desktop extensively? anyway, this weekend i officially said goodbye to the last windows install on any of my pc. now i officially sole boot ubuntu. adieu bill. |
@debosky, are u even reading my posts? we are on the same side, batting for the same team. one love jawe. i hereby place embargo on complaints on this thread. happy times are here again. my prayers are being answered so i dont understand all the noise. barca never bring the money ni? make dem do abeg e too dey tey. shey una see bendtner life, imagine make bolton dey reject bendtner, the self proclaimed danish ronaldo. even denilson sef nor see buyer. kai. these bois just finish themselves with indulgence. make pple come buy player ooooo, dem plenty make dem dey go |
