you flash it same way you flash rom , let just say immediately after flash miui v5, you should flash it
But all that is not necessary when flashing from chinese firmware.

Reason for the warning from the developer it was because the rom is Odex not Deodex which means remove/add one or two apps may result to lagging,bootlop etc
It is just like your stock rom,me and you know that you can remove all chinese crap just like that without causing problem to your camera app,way to go is deodex the rom which is useless with this Miui v5

Boot.img is it necessary or not?
if you want to port rom on your own is necessary but if using rom ported or make for your phone it is not necessary,so with this Miui v5 for E3 dont worry yourself on boot img.

i install this rom from chinese firmware without boot image and it work very well.

Meanwhile a user @king on xda posted for people flashing from india/international http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2306384&d=1381069923
just flash it along your miui v5 file.


On battery life
if your battery is not calibrated you may have issue of poor discharge on this rom.

nice rom indeed but no 3g on sim2 turn me off on almost 20 rom i ported and try on my E3

Coolstan: yes because by default sim 1 is set as the default video call sim (3G) sim. To make 3G active on the second sim switch the 3G which will in turn switch your video call sim to sim 2
