I have to agree with you on this one the disco dancers are the problem. Yes there is VIP in my area and they boast of 24hrs power supply

Those on 33KV feeders don't have light interruption often. The lightening trips the 33KV feeder from TCN end as a result of surge ( large fault current). If such feeder trips, disco must patrol the entire length to ensure there is no phase to earth fault or phase to phase fault like tree resting on the line due to wind storm.

If this happens at night, u dont expect the disco to patrol at night as they may not likely see well, hence the feeder will be out till morning, from morning they patrol clear the fault before TCN will restore the 33KV feeder for them.

If it happens during the day, the fault clearing time will be less as patrol will commence immediately after rain has stopped.

Hence fault occurrence during day time gets faster clearing time than those that occur at night
